<Before surgery><33 days after surgery>I was stressed because people often told me I looked tired due to my usual under-eye hollowness and tear troughs. I happened to find this clinic on Instagram, and since I was going to Korea anyway, I decided to have surgery and went straight to the clinic right after getting off the plane. Because I live in Japan and had to make a quick trip to Korea, I decided to have surgery on the same day. The surgery was performed on May 5, Children’s Day~ It was rushed, but the reason I decided to have surgery here was that the moment I saw the director, I felt I could trust him, so I decided on same-day surgery. I’m the suspicious type who usually goes to several places for consultations before deciding, but the more I consulted with the director at the clinic where I had surgery, the more I trusted him. Because of what the director said^^. He said that in my case, under-eye fat repositioning alone would not be very effective, and since he also recommended fat grafting, I had fat grafting done together as well. The director said he would not inject much fat, about 1 cc each. Ear filler is also very famous there, so I reserved ear filler too. haha He said it would be best to receive the ear filler while checking it visually, so we decided to do it after my eye surgery, once the anesthesia had worn off. With my heart pounding, I waited in the recovery room and then went into the operating room. I was very nervous, but I was grateful that the nurses were very kind and reassured me. After they told me the anesthesia was going in, I passed out within 3 seconds haha When I opened my eyes, I asked, “When are we doing the surgery?” but they said it was already over. lolololol I found myself lying in the recovery room. On the day of surgery, I had no swelling at all, and only my vision was somewhat blocked by the under-eye tape. On the third day, the swelling and bruising reached their peak, so when I woke up, I couldn’t open my eyes properly because of eye discharge and tears. ㅠㅠ They said I needed to do cold compresses often, so I kept doing cold compresses for a week. They harvested the fat from my navel, so there were stitches there, and since I live in Japan, I had the stitches removed after returning to Japan. What was uncomfortable was that my swelling lasted too longㅠㅠ The pain lasted about ten days, and the swelling flowed downward, so even my cheekbones and the sides of my nose swelled. ㅜㅜ For a month, I followed all the precautions the clinic gave me for the surgical area!! Just think of it as a daily battle with swelling over time and dates. When on earth will it go down... I messaged the manager in charge on KakaoTalk every day and sent photos. Every time I sent them, they checked my progress, explained what condition I was currently in, and reassured me. Those who have had surgery,,, at first, you’ll probably feel stressed every time you look in the mirror because of the swelling..ㅜ You just have to think that time is the medicine. Starting from the one-month mark, the swelling suddenly began going down rapidly. The front cheekbone area and the front of my eyes were very swollen, but they gradually went down and no longer interfered with daily life. After surgery, I’ve been told a lot that I look younger, and since there is still minor swelling left, I keep hearing that once all the swelling goes down, I’ll look so pretty haha From what I heard, swelling after under-eye fat repositioning is assessed for about 3 months? or so. Since I also had fat grafting~ what I’m looking forward to now is for the remaining swelling in my cheekbones and the front of my eyes to hurry and completely go down, so I can walk around with everything settled beautifully~ Please don’t get too stressed about the swelling~ Time really is the answer. They also lifted my ears so beautifully with the ear filler, so my face looks smaller and people say I look like an idol, so lately I’ve been flying high while receiving compliments❤ For those with under-eye hollowness and tear troughs, I definitely recommend under-eye fat repositioning and fat grafting at the clinic where I had my surgery.
