I had natural adhesion double-eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. Maybe because I tend to get skin trouble easily at dermatology clinics, the redness from the epicanthoplasty lasted about 6 months. They said it would get better over time, and after a year it was almost gone. But around the 6-month mark, the double eyelids on both sides came undone. They said they would redo it if I paid part of the cost, but I’m worried it might come undone again, so I’m thinking about doing incisional next time. Because it was natural adhesion, the swelling went down quickly and that was good, but I’m disappointed that it was a 6-month double eyelid.
