One-week review of breast surgery with Dr. Kang Byung-kwon at Sway!!!

5/30 first surgery slot of the day Mentor Extra, inframammary incision, 325cc 70A->70C Pectus excavatum Day 1!! First of all, I don’t think it hurt as much as I expected! I didn’t completely win the pain-free lottery, but..! On the day of surgery, I came in by 9:30, heard explanations about various things, met the doctor, and he designed everything for me. As expected, he was extremely meticulous.. He remembered everything from our first consultation.. Before surgery, he came into my recovery room and explained everything once more in great detail, including the surgery and anesthesia, and then I went into surgery!! The doctor kept telling me before surgery not to worry because he would make it pretty and not painful, so my trust was totally 200% haha. The nurses and anesthesiologist were also so kind, so I had surgery very, very comfortably, lay down in the recovery room, heard one more explanation from the doctor, and was discharged!! Days 2-4 They told me to move carefully for a week as if I were someone without arms, so I tried to use as little strength as possible!! More than breast pain, what was hardest for me was the tightness + itchiness of the compression bra, and pain in my hips, shoulders, and back because I had to sleep tilted at 45 degrees ㅠㅠ Still, the post-op pain wasn’t extremely severe, so I didn’t take any extra painkillers, and the prescribed antibiotics and painkillers were enough haha. Until then, just in case, my mother washed my hair for me! It was slightly uncomfortable when bending over too, but it was still okay! Days 5-6 From this point on, I started feeling totally okay, and I could wash and dry my hair by myself and do makeup carefully with ease! I also went to work and had no problems doing my job. It was just that the compression bra and upper band were so hard.. They had made something like a stick out of bandage and placed it between my cleavage, so I think that made it even harder, but time still passed pretty quickly! Day 7 The long-awaited Day 7!! I went to the hospital full of happiness, thinking I’d be able to take off the compression bra, upper band, and the stick placed between my cleavage! As soon as I arrived, I changed clothes, and the doctor checked everything very carefully. He asked one by one about the shape and whether anything was uncomfortable, and because I had scratched so hard since the compression bra was too itchy and wounded my skin, he told me exactly what ointment to apply!!! But ㅠㅠ my skin tissue was very thin and I also had less chest muscle than other people, so while that has the advantage that the shape can settle quickly and prettily, the downside is that if I don’t wear the bra properly, the shape might not become pretty!! ㅠㅠ So I decided to keep the compression bra + bandage stick for one more week! The doctor said he was so sorry but there was no other way, and since he was so kind and meticulous, I accepted it right away and decided to see him next week haha I had told them that the bandage stick was too long and showed through clothes, so it was a bit uncomfortable when going to work, and they thoughtfully remade it shorter so it wouldn’t show and brought it to me,, I was really touched! After seeing the doctor like this, receiving care, and coming home, just escaping the upper band alone still feels somehow refreshing!!! If anyone is deciding on a hospital, please, please get a consultation with Dr. Kang at Sway too!! Seriously!!!!!! I trusted him so much and liked him so much that I didn’t even go for consultations elsewhere and booked right away and had surgery. I’m still super satisfied!!! Dr. Kang, who grew my nonexistent boobs.. all the way to a full C.. you are the father of my lifetime ㅜ
