1-week review after breast surgery

I’m finally posting my 1-week review after breast augmentation. My breasts had sagged after childbirth, but I originally had enough breast tissue, so I couldn’t let go of my old breasts and kept thinking about it until I finally had surgery! I scheduled consultations at ㄹㅇㅇ and ㅁㄱ, but on the day of, I canceled ㄹㅇㅇ, went to ㅁㄱ, and immediately completed the surgery booking! For years I had thought that if I ever did breasts, I definitely had to do it at ㅁㄱ (famous for being painless), so I don’t think I looked into many other places.. There may be more plastic surgery clinics now, but since I’m lazy and it was famous from long ago, I went into surgery with a super positive mindset that their skills must be even better now. Transaxillary / Mentor Xtra 290 / subfascial I’ll write a vivid review (thanks to my habit of writing things in my notes every day) Warning, lots of scrolling! I moved this from my notes, so please excuse typos! d-day No issues at all except feeling cold when waking from anesthesia. I was fine and asked to be discharged, but they told me to stay a bit longer. Seriously not even 1 bit of pain... I chatted nonstop with the person who came with me, and that was the end of the day Usually when I have other surgeries, I’ve had the experience of it hurting a lot on days 2-3, so I slept nervously. + I was even more nervous because I sleep with a child who moves a lot in their sleep. In the end, I slept on the living room sofa. I woke up because of discomfort while sleeping. It wasn’t pain, I think I was just bothered by having to keep sleeping straight on my back. I don’t know. Anyway, I was like, this is breast surgery? Seriously, among all my surgeries, this has had the least aftereffects ever D+1 Nothing much... Same.. I’m pooping well too, and the hospital repeatedly stressed not to use my arms and shoulders, so I’m trying not to.. It doesn’t hurt. If I really try to find something, my breasts don’t hurt at all, but both arms feel heavy like body aches, discomfort in the left armpit? Tingling in the right hand, that’s all. There’s really nothing to write... I’m so fine that it’s more frustrating. I can’t do this and that, but my body feels totally fine.. lol I still don’t have much appetite, but I’m eating whatever I can roughly so I can take my medicine D+2 While sleeping, my right arm hurt a lot. I was sleeping on the sofa, then moved to the bed and slept again. When I woke up, my right armpit was only stiff, not severe. No problem using strength, but somehow my arm looks a bit swollen Today was the first time my arm throbbed and I had some muscle pain. It wasn’t severe, but I noticed it because the previous days had been so comfortable. But since it doesn’t hurt and they told me not to use my arms, I’m even more bored and restless.. If it hurt, I’d have no choice but to rest, but since I’m fine and they tell me to rest.. I keep seeing housework and things to do, but I’m forced to stay in my room watching Netflix Oh, I found one downside. The compression bra presses the pit of my stomach, so digestion doesn’t seem good, so I’m eating lightly. Sometimes my hands tingle. Went for a quick walk to the mart. Sometimes I feel a ziiing~~ sensation in my breasts. Overall, I think I really did win the painless lottery. It doesn’t interfere with daily life at all D3 It feels tight and swollen while sleeping, but it’s okay by morning. Itching is the biggest thing. Washed my hair by myself and went out. D4 Slept comfortably. Woke up and my breasts felt swollen My body feels lighter. Went out and drove too, about 10 minutes away, carefully. Watched a movie. Pain during the daytime is more than usual. Rather than pain, there are more frequent tingling or occasional poking sensations. D5 Since I live outside Seoul, visiting the hospital is inconvenient. Woke up at 4 a.m. and got ready. When I woke up, breasts were tight (as usual), did a morning poop, and it was so itchy ㅠㅠ I wanted to get to the hospital quickly. Until last night, when I curled up because it was cold, my breasts bothered me, but this morning even with the same chills, there was no breast discomfort compared with yesterday. When they removed the tape, it felt soooo refreshing.. It had been so itchy that it felt more refreshing than painful. First meeting with my breasts, wow!! As expected, Director Yoon is the best.. Put on only the hospital-provided sports bra and upper band, then went home D6 First shower. After taking off the rational upper band, I keep looking in the mirror.. I feel refreshed. Drove myself about 20 minutes round trip. No inconvenience in daily life. My breasts repeat swelling and going down (it feels like breastfeeding, so since I’ve experienced it once, it’s not a big discomfort) D7 Tight tight tight, swelling and going down, seems the same. Maybe it feels more that way because I’m just lounging around at home without much activity. I think it may get better when I go to work starting next week. There’s nothing special, so I think this review will end here. If surgery is on Friday, going to work on Monday seems totally possible (for office work). Just to be cautious, I’m taking 10 days off before going back, but without pain or anything, I’ll just rest well with Netflix and then go to work   On the night of D4, my belly looked like a pregnant woman’s, but maybe it was from wearing the compression bra, not digesting well, and eating diligently? The next day I couldn’t check because I went to the hospital, and when I checked on D6, it didn’t seem to be swelling, just my belly sticking out because I ate a lot. Now (D7), it’s just like my old belly! The best advantage of Migo is wearing the sports bra provided by the hospital (it’s like a grandma cotton bra).. There’s no corrective bra or anything! I wondered, is this okay? But I trust my doctor and wear the bra they gave me, and it’s so nice.. The transaxillary tape removal was on the 11th, when it got loose during a shower, so I removed it myself, and isn’t the scar amazing too.. I really, really worried about scarring, but where is the scar?? It’s so great. I’ll bring another review at one month!
