Liposuction review

I’m reposting the review I wrote on the hospital website here too, in case it helps anyone. The hospital I had surgery at is a specialized liposuction clinic in Bucheon. I had everything done there except the upper abdomen and calves. Right now, I think I have a really satisfying line. Except for my butt. 1. Reason I decided on surgery. I’ve had liposuction three times. Upper arms, lower abdomen, love line, inner thighs, the entire legs (except calves), butt... Now that I write it out, I really did a huge amount. I even got my weight down to 39 kg, but even though my upper arms, thighs, and love line did get smaller, I still couldn’t get the line I wanted. In particular, the thigh-touching issue... whenever I went over 40 kg, it would always come back and bother me. I’m naturally the type who doesn’t lose weight easily. No matter how hard I exercise, it doesn’t just fall off all at once; my body loses it slowly, little by little. So... my body type was exactly that of a petite, healthy build, but with certain parts I was dissatisfied with on my own. Well... and if other people were asked directly, they’d say my arms and thighs were thick. So I made the bold decision to have surgery. 2. Reason I chose the clinic The reason I came to xxx was... the website. I heard the doctor personally runs the website. I just believed that if the doctor was the type to personally run a website, that meant they were diligent and research-oriented, and the surgery would be that way too. 3. Difficulties and complaints during consultation and treatment. a. Once I decided, I’m the type who doesn’t worry about it, so I just entrusted everything to them. But what was really tiring was that the director and the doctor kept showing me before-and-after photos and other cases, trying to build my trust, and that process was a bit annoying. Looking at other people’s nude photos nonstop was tiring too.............. I had already decided to trust them and leave it to them, so I didn’t understand why they kept showing me photos like that. What I wanted to know wasn’t how the shape changed, but things like how much bruising was left and how much swelling there would be. Well... even now after the surgery, what I think is that because muscle mass and body type are different, my body’s shape inevitably came out different from what I had seen in other people’s photos. In the end, the effort the director and doctor put into stubbornly showing me photos, even when I said it was fine and I didn’t need to see them!!!!!, felt... just pointless to me. To get fairy-like arms and legs, you need to have less muscle mass. But my body type is more like a muscular warrior woman, so the bodies of some younger women I saw in photos... were just something I could never have. Well. In the end, body-shaping surgery also has limits, and I had heard that before the surgery too. Still, I’m satisfied compared to before. b. For the abdomen, they recommended local anesthesia, so I went with local. (They said it’s better for your health, and you don’t have to remove your nail art - I especially hated removing nail art - and you can drive home the same day. With sedation, you can’t drive.) Honestly, local anesthesia is... maybe good for your physical health, but not so great for your mental health. It felt like I had become a flatfish being sliced thin and thin. All through the surgery, the fluid moving through my body as the IV was injected, the sloshing sensation of a tube passing through my flesh, that sharp feeling of a long tubular metallic foreign object cutting between my skin throughout the surgery... And even the dull pain that was still partially felt despite the anesthesia nearly being complete. If you can endure all that, fine, but for people with a weak constitution, sedation would probably be better. c. This is a personal complaint, but I had surgery here three times, so of course I know things like the surgery process and how to wear compression garments. But because the surgeries weren’t done back to back and there were gaps of several months, I didn’t remember every aftercare method, and after the final thigh surgery, they explained the post-op precautions less than before. They said everything is on the website, so I should refer to that. Of course, I could just look at what’s on the website, but after surgery even sitting down is burdensome, and as someone who doesn’t deliberately get up and sit at a computer, this was pretty inconvenient for me. It would have been better if they had printed out the precautions. Thanks to that, after the last surgery I applied Povidone for about three days and then Bactroban. I later learned that if you apply Bactroban, the wound closes quickly so drainage doesn’t come out well, right? You’re supposed to apply the Povidone ointment for a week and then use it after the wound has healed. I only thought of that much later. During the whole three-surgery period, I didn’t really come to the website much. I think I was told how to apply the ointment after the first and second surgeries, but by the third they probably just skipped over it, thinking I already knew. I thought, “I already know too,” and assumed I understood, but in the end I didn’t know either. Saying “it’s on the website, so everything is there” also felt a bit careless. d. On the day of thigh surgery, there was unusually a lot of drainage compared to other areas, so even within just one day I had to change the surgical gauze many times, but maybe because they planned to check the progress the very next day, they put in too little gauze. Thanks to that, I had to sort through the used gauze overnight to find clean pieces among the ones already used, re-sterilize them, and use them again. On top of that, it was hard to place gauze on the thigh area, so it kept falling out. It would have been better if they had put in more, even if some was left over. I even considered going out at 10 p.m. with a surgically treated body to look for a pharmacy that sold gauze. (It was harder because I was staying alone in a motel in front of the hospital that day.) e. After the hospital changed locations, I think the system changed too. The first time I had it done, if I didn’t go in for a massage, they would check and tell me I needed to come. But now there’s nothing like that at all. Though if I made a same-day appointment and didn’t go, they did call me. Before, around the time for the massage, they would remind me that I hadn’t made an appointment and ask when I would come. There probably isn’t a method that stays exactly the same forever. 4. What I was satisfied with after surgery. At first, they liposuctioned my upper arms into a cylindrical shape, and there was no bruising, the swelling went down gradually... I was satisfied with the results. I had seen someone who had surgery at another clinic suffer from severe bruising and swelling, so for me it was extremely satisfying. Maybe because I wore the compression garment very diligently, the skin also adapted well. Then I got mini liposuction for the love handles, inner thighs, and abdomen too. Again, I was satisfied. There wasn’t much bruising left either. However, as for the inner thighs... in the end I ended up doing the entire legs later, so now I regret having done that for nothing. A month ago I had the entire legs liposuctioned in a cylindrical shape as my last procedure. This was also satisfying. Still... because I naturally have a muscular build, my arms and legs... I didn’t get the fairy-like shape I had imagined. Even so, the line looks very well-defined. 5. What I was dissatisfied with after surgery. My butt originally looked pretty to me, but since I was told it should be done together with the thighs or I’d regret it, I had it done together. But I’ve always liked big butts like Jennifer Lopez’s. Yet my butt size got smaller. At first I was so angry that it seemed like too much volume had been taken out that I even argued about it, but now I’ve just given up. I’m scared to have another surgery to restore it. I’m just upset that my butt got too small... but as I’m writing this, I’m getting upset and angry again. People around me also say the butt volume definitely decreased. From the back, to me it looks flat. I’m disappointed because it isn’t the butt I wanted, but I’m going to try losing more around my waist and abdomen through dieting once. Because my butt got smaller, the abdomen and waist where I had mini liposuction now look thick. Before, since it was partial liposuction, the abdomen and waist were not completely suctioned of fat..... When there was volume in my butt, those areas were fine and I thought they didn’t need any more work, but now that the butt has gotten smaller, they stand out. That’s really upsetting. Maybe people who like small butts would think mine looks pretty... but I... like big butts. ................. 6. Overall evaluation What more needs to be said? Even as I’m writing this now, I’m wearing the compression garment. Thanks to that, I couldn’t even date men for a whole month. Really... I’m dying. Still... once the abdomen is finished, I think my body will be complete. I guess I need to combine dieting and exercise more to shape my body. I haven’t had surgery anywhere else... Anyway... the doctor seems to have a divine hand. P.S. This is a tip for everyone here.. When deciding on surgery, take your own muscle mass into careful consideration. People with a certain amount of muscle mass... can’t become fairy-like in build.......at best... a Demi Moore-like body..
