Since school days I had several nicknames about my face shape.. My cheekbones and square jaw were both severe, and even I felt stressed by my uneven face shape, but because I was timid I chose the less aggressive quick zygoma surgery. I wanted to proceed without too much burden in terms of price, recovery time, or swelling, so that was my choice (I did not prefer a flashy style.) From the very first consultation, including the KakaoTalk consultation and the post-op consultation, the style of consultation was not really a fit for me.. The director himself has a somewhat combative? personality.. It kind of felt like being scolded.. and content-wise it was not really helpful for choosing or deciding either. However, I chose it because the videos posted for Instagram promotion showed the natural method I wanted, where only the side cheekbones were pushed inward. In the end, the quick zygoma surgery did not reduce the cheekbones much.. and there was no difference before and after in photos. If anything, the bone went in, but the soft tissue did not follow and stayed spread out, so later I had contour procedures and then two rounds of liposuction to refine the contours.. If I had to pick, the long-curved square jaw surgery done at the same time seemed to have some effect, probably because it is a procedure that directly shaves bone? Anyway, both surgeries seem like procedures that only become effective when combined with fat grafting~ What I learned after surgery was that for a facial structure like mine, where the whole cheekbone area is strongly developed, the 45-degree cheekbone controls the shadow firmly from the front and side, so no matter how much you push in the side cheekbone, the visible effect is the same. In Korean faces, there are not many faces that can get results just by pushing in the side cheekbone T_T I have since had a revision cheekbone surgery. With the standard method, the cheekbones definitely became properly smaller as I expected, and even if they are reduced like this, they cannot really go against the original face size, so there is no risk of it looking unnatural or anything. Even if you want an idol-like line, there is a limit to what can be refined by contouring alone. So even if you want a natural result, it would probably be better to make a natural cheekbone shape with a proper cheekbone surgery. I had this done here and the swelling lasted more than two months.. and after that I realized it was not swelling but extra soft tissue, so I tried several measures, but it ultimately ended in revision surgery T_T
