Hello, I brought a review of my one-part cheekbone surgery at a facial contouring clinic. After losing weight, my facial lines looked so uneven and my cheekbones bothered me, so for several years after the weight loss, I had a severe complex about my cheekbones. When I looked at other people, I found myself first checking whether their cheekbones protruded or not. Still, bone surgery is such a major surgery that for almost 3 years I thought about it and gave up repeatedly, then somehow, all of a sudden, as if I were possessed, I started looking up cheekbone surgery reviews and decided to have surgery. My criteria for choosing a clinic were: 1. At least triple fixation (traditional surgical method, not quick cheekbone surgery) 2. My preferred date (because of annual leave ㅠ ㅠ) 3. The price had to be under 5 million KRW These were the 3 conditions. I first went for a consultation at the facial contouring clinic, and it met all 3 conditions. I liked that they seemed to perform surgery using the traditional method, so I paid the reservation deposit right away and booked the surgery. Another advantage was that aftercare was unlimited for 1 month. Every time I went in for care, I could feel the swelling going down. The recovery process after surgery was really hard ㅠ For weeks 1-2, you can just think of your face as being extremely swollen. My bruising was so severe (I bruise easily. Only now have all the bruises faded.) When I went to work, people asked what happened to my face ㅠ ㅠ lol During weeks 3-4, I was more bothered by the bruising than the swelling ㅠ Still, since all the stitches had been removed, the swelling did go down well. During weeks 5-6, I slowly started exercising, and if I walked/running for 1 hour a day, the swelling would really go down after exercising. But the candy-like swelling is still there ㅠ If there is one thing that changed after surgery, I definitely feel that the angles of my face have become smoother. When you apply foundation with a spatula while doing makeup, right? Before surgery, because of my cheekbones, it felt like it kept getting interrupted? Like it did not apply well, but now it applies without interruption. I cannot tell right now whether my face has gotten smaller because of the swelling, and I think I will only know after 3 months. When I went to the clinic for my 1-month follow-up, the bones were fitting together well with no separation. They said that unless I experience a very major impact, it should heal well like this and the bones should fuse. Lastly, what I want to say to those who are about to have surgery or are looking for a clinic is: Rather than looking at lots of plastic surgery reviews, I recommend learning about the basic principles and methods of cheekbone surgery. I think what matters is whether the clinic performs a surgical method that suits your cheekbones. And I hope you follow everything the clinic tells you to follow. Each clinic may give different recommendations to patients, but you should not eat meat or tough foods when it has not even been 2 weeks ㅠ ㅠ Also, take the 3 types of swelling medication properly, and I recommend taking vitamins and calcium well. I will leave another review after 3 months!
