I thought a lot of people might be curious, so I brought an honest review now that 2 months have passed. It may be unfamiliar, but it was a philtrum reduction and mouth-corner surgery~ First, the reason I decided to have surgery... For a long time, I was bothered because my impression looked a bit strong, and especially when my face was expressionless, the area around my mouth looked droopy.. My philtrum was also on the longer side, so every time I took photos, I always edited the area around my mouth. It was such a hassle that I would ask my friends every time to edit it before uploading ㅠ And since my philtrum was definitely long, looking older was such a complex for me. Then after only worrying about it, I finally made up my mind two months ago and went through with it! I ended up doing it. Originally, I was only planning to get a philtrum reduction, but when I looked at reviews, I saw that doing a philtrum reduction and mouth-corner surgery at the same time could have a better effect. During the consultation too, since my mouth corners were originally drooping, they said that if I had a philtrum reduction, they could look even more droopy, so it would be better to do them together. So I got them together. There were many directors recommended to me, but I completely fixed on Director Song Sang-hoon, only had a consultation there, and proceeded right away. He is so well known for being good at philtrum reductions that I don’t think I worried much, and when I actually went for the consultation, I trusted him even more, so I don’t think I even went around to other places for consultationsㅋㅋ I was also feeling lazy. For reference, he had been famous since his Golden View days, and then opened Golden Diamant Plastic Surgery. Honestly, since I heard he had opened his own clinic, I thought I’d be able to book a consultation and surgery quickly, but it really seems like there are a lot of people who have surgery just because of the director. There were already so many appointments that I had to book the consultation for 2 weeks later and wait, and even for the surgery, they said it was the earliest possible schedule, but I still waited about another 10 days before having it. But after doing it, I understood why people do it even if they have to wait. For the philtrum, I reduced it exactly 4~5 mm compared with before surgery. I wondered if that wasn’t enough, but the director said 5 mm was sufficient, so I did 5 mm. That 5 mm difference really changed my facial impression. The way my upper lip lifted also became much more natural, and with the area under my nose shortened, it feels like the overall proportions fit just right? I only lifted the mouth corners slightly too, so at first it didn’t look like a big change, but when my face is expressionless, my impression is definitely softer. I used to hear that I always looked angry or spaced out, but after getting it done, these days I don’t hear people around me say I look tired, so I really like that. And the thing I was most worried about with the philtrum reduction was the scar!?!! They say scars last really long and don’t go away.. Actually, that’s also why I looked for Director Song. They said he was famous for scarless results.. It’s not completely scarless, but for the scar under the nose, you really have to look up close to tell whether it shows or not. The mouth corners are still red and settled in place, so I’m always conscious and trying not to open my mouth too wide. Scar care was included after the surgery. I’m going to keep using the prescribed ointment + regeneration laser treatments and somehow make scar-free mouth corners ㅎ I was worried because both were procedures around the mouth, but I have no regrets at all. My impression changed so dramatically that I’m satisfied, to the point that I regret why I didn’t do it sooner just because I was scared of this level of scarring. I’ll leave another review around 6 months after the surgery!!
