I went just for reference, but it ended up being more helpful than I expected, so that was nice. Since I can only see my bone structure? facial bones? in the mirror, I vaguely thought I’d just need my cheekbones and jaw done, but seeing it on CT felt kind of fascinating, and my bones were definitely not the kind that make a truly pretty face shape at all, more than I expected lol so it did make me want to do more. But as I said earlier, my priority was wanting it to look natural, so I asked the director to please design it so that it wouldn’t look obvious I had surgery. He recommended either two procedures or one procedure, and the director’s tendency? was a little similar to mine. He’s not the type to tell you to do things you don’t really need, and if something won’t actually be effective, he clearly tells you why it won’t work and tells you not to do it. Because I was considering facial contouring surgery and also genioplasty advancement, but he said my chin isn’t severely retruded, and that, more than that, refining the overall face shape through contouring was more important.. The fact that, under general anesthesia, a guardian can monitor in real time also made me feel somewhat more okay, since I had been scared because of safety concerns. Like I said, I went just for reference, but I feel like my willingness to get surgery went from 30% up to about 60-70%. For the rest, I guess I’ll have to go around to more hospitals and decide.. But the consultant said that three-part facial contouring was also possible without an extra charge, and honestly, if I had wanted a more dramatic face shape, I think I would have done that. The consultant just explained that this option existed, and didn’t say it like I had to do it, so it helped a lot as a reference for the cost and reservation parts. And what I felt after coming back from the consultation is, I’ve only been to one facial contouring consultation so far, but I’m already a bit mentally shaken. Other surgeries weren’t like this.. Facial contouring really feels like I’m putting everything on the line? lol I also hope that after I decide on surgery and get it done, everything passes smoothly, and I hope everyone looking into facial contouring like me gets through it without any difficulties. As I said at the very beginning, if you know any other places that are good at natural-looking facial contouring besides this one, I’d be really grateful if you let me know.
