I had to go to a Gangnam plastic surgery clinic anyway, so I also got an aegyo filler treatment on that visit. I had had surgery with the lead surgeon here before, and he is really truly skilled and kind, and he explained everything in detail, so my trust in this hospital and the lead surgeon became very strong. I should have understood that a lead surgeon being excellent does not mean the hospital’s overall skill is the same. I went down to dermatology and applied anesthetic cream (the floor manager? the staff member was very kind, and spoke comfortably with me). After anesthesia, when I was about to have the procedure, the doctor came in (I don’t know their name). There was a look of nervousness, and they were breathing a little like doing deep breaths, and I thought, “Huh? No way.” I have had aegyo filler about three times at other hospitals, including touch-ups, but this is the first time I saw a doctor this tense, so I was already anxious. During the procedure.... oh... looks like I bruise very easily... take a look in the mirror once. I did, and it was awful.... the bruising was totally ruined. The doctor said, “Don’t feel embarrassed, okay,” and “It does happen a bit.” This is my 4th aesure filler, but this is the first time I’ve ever bruised like this, and it feels unbearable. The bruise is so severe that it disrupts normal daily life, seriously ㅋㅋ ㅋㅋ It’s maddening because it won’t hide. The color seems like it’ll stay for a week; that’s so frustrating. Even if this hospital is famous for a specific surgery and the lead surgeon is a master, it does not mean the entire hospital is good at everything. At each hospital, go to the doctors who are good at their specialty. If I ever need surgery again, I’ll come back, but I will never ever return to dermatology.
