It was written for a public-interest purpose to help people with similar concerns, not with the intention of disparaging any specific hospital or medical staff. ※ In the photos, the side with the mole on the nasal ala is the right side of the face, and some photos include left-right reversal. The before-and-after comparison photos used only the cropped nose area from materials taken directly at Cobijou Clinic, and they are photos from about 30 days after surgery. The selfie was taken by me personally in the morning while lying down. Personally, there are aspects of the surgical result that I find disappointing. I did not feel much improvement in the asymmetry, and after surgery, as the nose became lower than before, the nostrils look somewhat pinched from both the front and side views. Also, the nasal tip line looks excessively upturned, so I was not satisfied with the overall harmony. The scar area on the nasal tip that had previously been tightly restored started to show again, and mild pigmentation also developed in that area. Also, the scar on the columella has become darker than before. As the nasal tip became lower, it created a somewhat blunt-looking impression, and it also feels like a bulbous nose. Also, the nostrils look upturned and changed into a pinched-looking shape, so aesthetically, I personally feel that the pre-surgery appearance was better. This is my personal opinion, and it may differ from other people’s thoughts/results. If you are considering a procedure, I recommend having a thorough consultation with the medical team and making a careful decision suited to your own condition.
