It’s been three months, and I think it’s fair to say I’ve fully recovered externally and everything has settled into place. The swelling is gone, and I no longer feel the firm, hardened scar tissue that used to be palpable. While editing the photos and comparing them again now, it definitely looks like the fat pockets have been smoothed out nice and flat. The after photos are all bare-faced, so the dark coloration shows exactly as it is, but I think that’s more in the realm of pigmentation haha More than anything, the under-eye hollows that used to make me look so much older, tired, and worn-out in photos are gone now, so I don’t have that stress anymore! Those of you considering it are probably doing a lot of research. This was my first cosmetic surgery, and since it was on my face, and close to my eyes on top of that, I had all kinds of fears. But I chose the clinic and doctor based on where I felt comfortable and could trust them, and thankfully it went well without any significant side effects, so I’m very relieved and grateful.. Everyone, please become prettier little by little, safely.
