It’s been about 2 weeks since surgery now, and although I’m still recovering, the overall shape? is gradually settling, so it’s at the point where watching the progress is kind of fun! I had it done at D-Day, and I had my bulbous nose, hump, and even the nose length that had looked short corrected all at once! For the nasal bridge, I had 5 mm silicone inserted, and for the nasal tip, I used autologous costal cartilage! Since it was my first surgery, I did think a lot about using autologous costal cartilage, but since I was doing it anyway, I chose autologous costal cartilage with the mindset of wanting to be more satisfied from the first surgery! Cartilage suturing and any other necessary parts were all done together too. During the first week, because of the swelling and bruising, I honestly got a bit worried when looking in the mirror, but once I entered week 2, the swelling definitely started going down and the nose line slowly began to show, so I felt relieved. Especially from the side profile, it’s really noticeable that the hump that used to protrude has been neatly smoothed out, and from the front, the nasal tip that used to look spread out feels much more refined!! There’s still a slightly stiff and pressed feeling around the nasal tip, but I was told it will gradually soften over time, so I’m trying to take care of it diligently in my own way! Before surgery, I used to hear so often that my impression looked strong, and although it hasn’t been that long yet, I do seem to hear from time to time that my overall vibe has softened a bit~ For now, I like that it changed naturally without looking obvious. It’s only been 2 weeks, so it’s too early to conclude anything, but judging only from the progress so far, I think I’ll be able to be quite satisfied, and I’m expecting it to settle much better after a few more months!
