<Before surgery><After surgery>I had actually been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery for a long time, but I was so busy preparing for my wedding that I ended up having the surgery not long before the wedding shoot ㅠㅠ Before the surgery, I worried a lot that maybe I was doing it too late, and since I had the shoot coming up, I was worried about what would happen if all the swelling didn’t go down, but now all I can think is that I’m really glad I had the surgery done!! Looking at my before-surgery photos, I had lived with small monolid eyes with no double eyelid at all, and I wanted an epicanthoplasty, but I was also recommended double eyelid surgery together with ptosis correction a lot, so I really agonized over it. I worried that if I got double eyelid surgery, the new crease would change my impression, but during the consultation, they designed the line to be as thin and natural as possible, and they also pointed out the inner corners of my eyes and the under-eye fat, then made a surgical plan, so even though I now have a crease, it settled naturally without looking strange or excessive~ I was already someone who often did my own makeup, but these days my eyes look more defined, so even when I skip eyeliner, people often tell me my eye shape is pretty. The double eyelid settled well as a thin line lol And I could subtly but clearly feel the effect of the epicanthoplasty too!! It was the key to making my eyes look more open.. Recovery was faster than I expected, and the bruising from under-eye fat removal lasted a bit longer, but the epicanthoplasty area healed faster than I thought, and there was almost no scarring left. Among eye surgeries, I feel like this one turned out the most natural, so my satisfaction is really high these days...... If I’d known it would be this good, I should’ve done it much earlier.. So for everyone who, like me, dislikes flashy looks and prefers something natural, I really want to recommend it. Doing the double eyelid line together with the canthoplasty really changed my impression, and once the stuffy look around my eyes disappeared, my overall vibe became softer too~ If you’re considering surgery, make sure to visit a clinic that designs things delicately! When I read reviews like this from others, I half-believed them and half-doubted them, but after actually doing it, I understand why everyone recommends it lololol I liked it so much that I wanted to leave a review, so I worked up the courage to write this. I had my wedding shoot after double eyelid surgery, and after selecting photos and even getting all the Photoshop edits back, when I looked at the photos, it didn’t feel unpleasant. Instead, it felt more like, “It looks better than I expected?” If everyone here wants to recover quickly after surgery, definitely don’t overdo it, and make sure to check whether aftercare and revision support are well provided!
