I had a lot of fat under my chin, so I thought I had a recessed chin, but after getting liposuction, it turned out I was just someone with a lot of fat lol... Since I was young, my nasolabial folds looked really pronounced, and because I had a lot of facial fat, I looked heavier than my actual weight, which bothered me ㅠ I tried to fix it through dieting, but that didn’t really work, so in the end I decided to get liposuction on my double chin, jawline area, cheeks + deep cheek fat. I went around to about 6 places for consultations, mostly famous clinics that everyone would recognize if I said their names. But liposuction doesn’t just end with removing fat; some places said I might need muscle tying, and some said I’d need fat grafting to avoid hollowness. Since every clinic said something different, it was hard to choose where to get surgery ㅠ But at the clinic where I had the surgery, during the consultation I asked if I didn’t need muscle tying, and they said my elasticity wasn’t poor enough to need muscle tying. I also said I was considering fat grafting because my nasolabial area looked a bit hollow, but the director strongly talked me out of it during the consultation. Usually if you say you want something, it’s normal for them to be happy about it, so I felt like they were really giving me an honest consultation. That’s why I decided to go through with the surgery lol I was really worried because I heard liposuction scars are more noticeable than expected, but after actually getting it, they don’t seem as bad as I thought? The weather got hot so I had to wear my hair tied up, but I’m relieved it doesn’t show ㅠ I didn’t get muscle tying, but I don’t feel like the fat under my chin is sagging or stretched out, so I’m really happy ㅠ It’s only week 2, so I think I’ll have to keep watching, but isn’t this pretty good?
