As you can see from the first pre-op photo, I was always told that my first impression looked cold. People said that even when I was just looking at them, it looked like I was glaring... So I made up my mind and got lateral canthoplasty! For me, rather than making the horizontal length of my eyes longer, my main goal was to lower the outer corners of my eyes. At first, I thought the surgery that lowers the outer eye corners was lower canthoplasty, but when I went for consultations at clinics, I found out that lateral canthoplasty is the surgery that lowers the outer eye corners ^^; so I ended up getting lateral canthoplasty. After the surgery, I got the gentle-looking outer eye corners that I thought I’d never see in my life. The so-called Seo Min-jung eye corners!!! (That’s a name I made up myself ^^;) At first, they’re overcorrected, so people say I might look silly, but I even like this silly-looking phase..^^ Especially after lateral canthoplasty, my under-eye aegyo-sal became fuller, so my family and friends say I look cute ^^; As someone who had never once been called cute since birth... Once the overcorrection settles and it heals into a pretty shape, I’ll post another review! I recommend lateral canthoplasty to anyone upset about angry-looking outer eye corners~!
