I had cheekbone reduction here in February last year. The clinic seems to be gone now, but for me it was a place where I felt lucky to have been able to get surgery, so I’m leaving a review, even though it’s late. I think the director said at the time that his wrist wasn’t good, so he couldn’t operate for a while, and I wonder if that may also be why the clinic closed.
First of all, I didn’t do the full 3-part contouring, only the cheekbones. They said my face didn’t need all 3 procedures, and that if I wanted to do the chin tip I could, but it was something that could be supplemented with just filler rather than shaving bone unnecessarily, so it seemed like the consultation was aimed at avoiding anything that could be avoided as much as possible. Thinking about it now, that was really fortunate. Now that exactly a year has passed and I look at my face, I feel like because I didn’t do things I didn’t need back then, I haven’t had any sagging or other side effects at all. The surgery time was also very short compared with other reviews, so there was almost no pain. There was nothing like pain so bad I couldn’t sleep; I slept well and ate well.
At first, truly no one around me noticed that I had cheekbone reduction, and I only felt it a little when I looked in the mirror myself. So honestly, I was a bit disappointed at first. But the saying that swelling goes down for about a year was really true; these days, when I happen to look at my face, I suddenly feel again that it really has gotten smaller. I guess you really have to wait and see up to a year. At first the effect seemed so minimal that I did think I wished I had a more dramatic effect like reviews from people who had all 3 contouring procedures, but now, a year later, I realize cheekbone surgery is one where the more greedy you get, the more you can lose. Well, this probably depends on the person too..
After cheekbone surgery, nothing was wrong, so I hadn’t come into this community for a year, but recently I’ve been coming in often to look into another surgery, and after seeing posts about side effects, I really think I did well not to overdo it. I think choosing to do it here was a really good choice, and even if I went back to that situation again, I think I would have surgery here. Clinics where you can go in even before opening hours to see the director after surgery are rare.
Even if I write this review now, the clinic is gone, so it won’t help with promotion, but among everyone looking into cheekbone reduction, I thought I’d leave a review because I hope you don’t get fooled by flashy reviews covered in ads or by doctors’ or consultants’ overconfident claims. Cheekbone surgery is surgery that touches bone, and compared with eyes or nose, I think it’s a surgery where you have much more to lose if it goes wrong. So I hope everyone looks into it more carefully and gets surgery at a trustworthy place. I hope you all succeed.
