After having revision surgery for my hump nose and bulbous nose, I really feel like the center of my face has become much more balanced!!!! Before, every time I looked in the mirror, my face somehow looked crooked, the overall proportions didn’t seem right, my nasal tip was pressed down, and the bridge of my nose was especially thin and crooked, so it felt like the framework was really unstable? The problem was that as I kept living like that, I would shrink back for no reason even when making facial expressions, and my side profile, more than the front view, seriously became stressful.... So I strongly felt that revision surgery was just something I absolutely had to do.. Oh, of course, if I look at it really objectively, I wouldn’t say the first surgery was a complete failure, but as time passed, the shape collapsed and it started to look obvious, so I strongly felt I couldn’t leave it like that anymore.... But what I definitely felt while searching and looking into it was that revision surgery really isn’t easy.. The surgery itself has to be done delicately, and the existing tissue or implant has to be considered, so I really felt there was a big difference in doctors’ skill.. So I think it’s right to really research well before getting it done! In the early period before the swelling went down, there were times when I wondered, ‘Is this really getting better?’ but as time passed, it felt somehow more solid, and I started thinking, oh, this is different.. Unlike before, the bridge line of my nose is, I don’t know if this expression is right, stable? And really.. unlike before, the nasal tip isn’t pressed down either!! These days, my nasal congestion is less when I breathe, and I also immediately feel more comfortable when making facial expressions....!!! Before, my nose would get squashed along with my smile, but now that doesn’t happen, and even when my face is expressionless, my impression looks much softer. In conclusion, I think it’s accurate to say it feels like I should have done it this way from the beginning, both aesthetically and functionally!! Surgery doesn’t always guarantee satisfaction, but this time, there have definitely been many moments when I felt I made the right choice~~~~
