Because of my protruding underbite, it was such a huge complex for me, but now it's gone, so I'm so, so happy~ >.< !! When I first had surgery.. it hurt so much and was really hard.. But as I watch myself gradually becoming prettier, I just feel happy. Maybe because of that, even now I still can't believe I had surgery, and my heart keeps pounding. Just imagining how I'll continue to change makes me so excited and happy~ >.< !!!! After scheduling the surgery, I went for 3 more consultations and prepared until the surgery~ I got scaling, orthodontic treatment, and as the surgery day got closer, I was half excited and half nervous. During the 1st week after surgery, I could drink fruits, vegetables, and things like that blended up.. By the 2nd week after surgery, I could slowly start chewing food, beginning with soft foods. The foods I ate in the 2nd week were pumpkin porridge, castella, soaked noodles, things like that.. As for opening my mouth, as long as I don't open it too wide, I can open it enough that talking is not uncomfortable~ It's now a little over 2 weeks since surgery, and I'm already surprised by how much I've changed. I'm so happy, and every day is just enjoyable ^^ Right now, I go to the hospital every week to have my occlusion checked by the oral and maxillofacial surgery director, and I'm working hard on aftercare while also getting lymphatic care to reduce swelling~ ^^
