It’s almost been a month now, and at first I didn’t notice the lagophthalmos, but as the swelling went down, it started showing; The clinic says it’s because things are clumped and pulling during the recovery process, and that it’ll go back with time, and that massaging under the eyes would be good... But even when I search, it doesn’t seem like it recovers that well, yet they just keep telling me to wait... Does it actually go back..? ㅠㅜㅜㅜ sigh..
마봉이 I was overcorrected too and suffered so much from lagophthalmos. I want to give you courage, but unfortunately, cases like this almost never improve.ㅠㅠ You’ll probably have to wait it out, and after 6 months, get upper eyelid retraction repair. It doesn’t feel like someone else’s problem…ㅠㅠ I struggled so, so much too...
김두기 I had about 2-3 mm of lagophthalmos, but after 3 weeks, my eyes closed completely (I didn’t have ptosis correction)
김두기 [@끄이잉] I think you should go get examined at another clinic, not the one where you had surgery. It was lower eyelid fat repositioning, so this is my first time hearing of lagophthalmos from that.
제이에잋 I’m on day 6 too, and the lagophthalmos is so severe that I’m scared .......Will this actually go back...???? Should I just undo the ptosis correction..
슬펑어 How is it now ..?
용용채 Did the lagophthalmos happen to go back?ㅜㅜ
끄이잉 [@용용채] It hasn’t gone back~~~ ㅜㅜㅜㅜ
용용채 [@끄이잉] Wow.... It’s been 5 months and it still hasn’t gone back? I’m seriously going crazy. I have lagophthalmos right now too, you know? But it’s only been 10 days for me, so I thought maybe my eyes would close over time.. What should I do, seriously? What does the clinic say?
