<My spread-out nostrils and.. low nose…><I already liked the left side of my face, but after doing it I like it even more>I originally had a low nasal bridge and a bulbous nose that spread sideways. Just the worst .. To properly see the area between my nostrils, I had to lift my nostrils to look, and contouring was basically like drawing on a pig nose. People with bulbous noses will understand, right? It made no difference whether I did it or not .. Even when doing makeup, foundation never took only in that area between the nostrils, and whenever I took pictures, photoshopping always started with the nose… The problem was that especially in smiling photos, the nose looked spread out, so photoshopping was awkward and looked weird. And you know how the face looks wide and flat? I wanted a clean face with a bit of atmosphere, but my impression was too round and gave off too much of an easygoing-person vibe. So I thought if only my nose were cleaned up a bit, my overall impression would change a lot. I had consultations at 3 places in total, and at the first clinic, even though I arrived at my reservation time, I waited 2 hours… It felt like they mainly saw people who had already booked procedures or plastic surgery.. That may be important, but I also had a reservation… I waited as long as 2 hours… In that moment it was just eliminated from my mind, so I don’t even remember it well haha The second place had clean interiors, they took a CT right away, and I liked that the system was well organized by floor. But the doctor’s consultation was 3 minutes..? It felt like I talked almost only with the consultant, so it was a bit disappointing. Of course, the consultant’s consultation was good and detailed. But the doctor is the one doing the surgery, so I wanted to talk with the doctor a little more. But the doctor left before I even had time to ask anything, so it was just so-so. The third clinic is where I had surgery. I liked that each waiting seat had partitions and a charger, and since there were many people, I thought, ah, the wait here will be long too.. but after watching about 4 Reels, I was called pretty quickly! I had a CT, then a first consultation with the consultant, and then went right into the second consultation with the director. I didn’t have any knowledge about noses and hadn’t researched anything; I just thought, ah, I need to do it, and booked consultations. Since I’m a working person, I was planning to choose one out of the three. (Obviously) they pointed out only the parts I needed. But my nose was one that really did need everything. I had osteotomy, bulbous nose correction, nostril reduction, silicone, and ear cartilage used. Everyone goes in having already chosen the clinic that’s No. 1 in their mind, right? I originally did have it in mind to do it here, and when I actually went for the consultation and they held my nose with cotton swabs, other places had held it too, but because I had already somewhat made up my mind, I felt even more certain. I booked the surgery that same day and ended up proceeding. I had surgery on May 1, and when I went in, they took before photos and I gargled, and before surgery I talked once more with the consultation teacher. When she said she had done it at this hospital too, I felt more drawn to it ㅠ After that, I saw the director once more for the design, and went straight into the operating room. I hadn’t lain on an operating table since kindergarten, so I just kept thinking I wished they would put me to sleep quickly. But the anesthetic went in, I felt a stiff, achy sensation, and when I opened my eyes, it was over ㅋㅋㅋ They didn’t put cotton in my nose, so breathing was comfortable. Of course, it swelled inside later, so I did end up breathing through my mouth, but I could taste things well. For reference, my older sister also had nose surgery, and she said her nose was packed tightly with cotton, so she ate porridge without even knowing it had gone bad. After surgery, it really hurt much less than I expected, and rather than my nose, my throat hurt soooo much because of general anesthesia. I think mine hurt for about 4 days. Other than that, nothing hurt. I went home by bus alone, by bus all the way. Round trip 3 hours? First of all, I really love that I can see my nostrils right away without lifting them, and before, when I wore a hat, it cast a shadow on my nose and made it look even blunter, but now I don’t have to worry about that. Before, contouring was mandatory even if I went out briefly, but now I can just go out without contouring, and my eyes look bigger, my features look more defined, so my overall impression feels much more sophisticated? I’m still at week 3, so my eyes look a bit close together and the nasal tip is still high, but I think it’ll become natural with time, so I’m not worried :)
