After epicanthoplasty, my lacrimal caruncle was too visible, tears would often pool, and I always felt like my eyes looked too close together. For 10 years. I found out there was a surgery called epicanthoplasty restoration, so I went for consultations at ㄷㅂㅊ (now ㅇㅇ), ㅇㅂ, and lastly Secret. I liked the blog reviews and they said I didn’t need to use Steri-Strips, so I chose them right away. Just in case, I still wore them for a few months though A parasol and sunscreen are essential. It has now been 2 years since the surgery. It became more rounded? like a ㄷ shape rather than a sharp point, but my glabella area widened, so I’m living satisfied. I was also sharp-pointed until before taking the hospital photo on day 7, but it gradually changed. Maybe it has gotten even better these days? Anyway, the restoration didn’t leave scars, and my original epicanthoplasty scar disappeared, so I’m satisfied with just that. I don’t think I’ll have revision surgery.
