Review after 8 years of LASEK

I did it at a hospital near my neighborhood. I had worn glasses since I was young and found them so uncomfortable, so I saved some money from part-time work and got it done right away. My astigmatism was severe, so it was hard to focus with contact lenses; I bought them once and gave up. Satisfaction is good. Of course there are side effects. But it’s more like things I already had got a bit worse, so it’s not extremely uncomfortable. Dry eyes, glare, and being slow to adapt when it suddenly becomes completely dark.. For early care, use the eye drops they give you after LASEK properly, and recover at home for about 5 days while taking it easy. After that, if your vision comes out well, I use artificial tears every day, do warm eye compresses, do massages, and if I use my phone for a long time, I rest briefly and do eye exercises. I used to do warm eye compresses with an eye mask, but heating it was annoying and it got too hot, so I bought an ocular infrared irradiator and use that. The thing they do in the corner while you’re waiting at the ophthalmology clinic. My vision is maintaining well too!! I think my diopter was -7, and my vision became around 1.0. Conclusion - There are side effects, but satisfaction is greater.. I hated glasses so much. Pain behind my ears, pain on the bridge of my nose, appearance nerf.. Still, once eyes get worse, recovery is impossible, so decide carefully and take good care of them.
