It really feels like it’s been years since I came here Five years ago, when I had contouring surgery and nose surgery together, I kept coming and going here a lot before the surgery to get information, and I also stopped by afterward, but somehow I ended up forgetting about it and just living my life In the end, the contouring surgery from my first operation turned out fairly well, and the nose surgery also turned out fairly naturally and fairly well.. In the case of the contouring surgery, there is an asymmetrical part, so it has been something that has stressed me out to this day. I want a revision, but as I get older, surgery itself feels more and more scary. I also don’t have the patience to endure the recovery period anymore.. When I was younger, I just went onto the operating table with only the thought that I’d become prettier, and I didn’t even know to be scared, but the older I get, the more timid I become ,, Still, I don’t regret having had contouring surgery Nose surgery.. this is the homework of my life.. For my first surgery 5 years ago, while getting contouring done at ㅂ, I used the septum and Gore-Tex. It turned out so natural that no one could tell I had done my nose. After about 2 years, I started to feel that the columella area at the tip of my nose was loose and dropping. At that time, a glamorous, high luxury-style nose was in fashion. The second surgery was done at a place called ㅇㅇㅇ.. I think the problem started from the surgery there.. No, the first surgery itself was the problem.. Anyway, after the second surgery the height went up a little, and my nostrils came out uneven.. My nostrils were originally uneven, but once the height was raised, that became more visible.. I think the doctor from the first surgery noticed that and intentionally corrected it for me.. Also, I had a recessed-chin surgery and a cat surgery, too (this hospital sells those together as a package..) but.. my lower face was originally a bit large, and once the chin silicone was inserted, with the swelling added on top of that, it was a sight to behold.. It was like a traditional mask from a folk play.. And the cat implant felt so foreign, and when I smiled, the shape of my mouth became distorted.. When I asked for AS, the doctor immediately agreed too.. For reference, when you go in for a consultation for this surgery, there are really a lot of waiting patients.. but after surgery, I saw that half of those patients were AS patients like me,,, I’m not saying I’m completely criticizing this hospital. I know an older sister who had nose surgery 7 times, and even when other doctors said they couldn’t touch it, this hospital saved her, so there are people like that too Anyway, just one month after surgery, I went back onto the operating table again.. I had one nostril lowered, changed the cat implant to a smaller one, and removed the chin implant.. As the swelling went down and time passed, it became a natural shape.. What was lucky for me was that my original nose was low and small, so the surgery always came out naturally, without anyone knowing I had surgery.. At first, it stressed me out so much that I couldn’t get the pretty, sharp nose I wanted, but if a pretty nose had come out, that would have been great, yet if it had been an ugly, noticeable nose instead, I think I wouldn’t have been able to endure it with my personality.. Anyway, my looks got a bit ruined compared to before. My smile used to have a cute look, but because the nose was raised and the columella was brought down, I now look like I have an arrow nose when I smile, and because of the cat implant, even my smile became distorted.. This hospital really ruined my faceㅠㅠ Still, I lived fairly well with a natural nose without worrying too much. But the problem was that after about 6 months, cartilage started showing through at the tip of my nose.. They used donated rib cartilage, but I think they did not cover it with AlloDerm over it.. Because I had so many revisions, my skin had already become thin, and since nothing was placed on top of it, the skin got thinner.. In bright light, it showed through at the tip of my nose in a round shape like a pearl.. But the shape was so natural that I didn’t feel that much stress about it. Then as more time passed, I could feel it even with my fingertips.. It really felt like if I kept enduring it, it would poke through the tip of my nose.. If I pressed that area with my hand, I would feel a tingling sensation too.. Just thinking about that feeling again makes me shudder.. It’s not exactly a very painful feeling, but it’s such an awful feeling.. I endured it for a year like that and decided on revision surgery My nose shape wasn’t collapsing, but back then I was under so much mental stress that I chose a clinic said to be famous for reconstruction, ㅅㅁㅇ.. I also decided to remove the cat implant that had been uncomfortable all along because of the foreign-body sensation I truly hoped this would be the last time, and I begged the doctor so desperately as well before the surgery. But.. a few days after the surgery, when the cast came off, my mother and I cried our eyes out.. Maybe there was a communication problem with the doctor.. They made my nose way too high .. too high and too large.. Thinking about it now, maybe it would have looked pretty once the swelling went down, but because I’d always lived with a natural nose and thought that suited my face, I just could not get used to it.. I went back to the hospital and asked them to lower the height again. I asked them just to fix the pre-surgery issue of the tip cartilage showing through. But because it looked like a pretty nose in the photos, the doctor seemed reluctant.. They had said that at the time of surgery the inside of the nose was a mess and it was a really difficult surgery, so when I asked them to do it again, they probably felt hurt too. But with my timid personality, no matter how pretty it looked, I felt like I could not live with a nose that made people say, ‘She had her nose done.’ So only about 2 weeks after surgery, I had another revision again They did make the silicone lower than I wanted ㅠㅠ but still, it went back to a round, soft-looking nose.. Because of the tip showing through, they placed too much dermis, so it ended up looking a little like a bulbous nose.. but it wasn’t an especially ugly nose, and I was satisfied just with the fact that it wasn’t showing, so I lived happily for 6 months until just a few days ago ㅠㅠㅠ I thought, now this is the last surgery.. But.. inflammation that I had luckily escaped all this time came for me ... Was I being arrogant because 6 months had passed.. I hadn’t been drinking all that time, and I had quit smoking 7 months before the surgery.. But last Friday I drank quite a lot and smoked. Even so, I was fine through the weekend.. On Sunday I smoked about three cigarettes.. But on Sunday evening, my nose started feeling a little strange. The bridge felt a bit soft? And there was some pressure pain in my eyeballs. A feeling like my eyes were being pressed? But I thought I was just tired and that it was nothing serious, so I brushed it off.. Also, the week before that, I had gotten Botox across my forehead, and my forehead had felt a little tight, so I thought my eyes were just tired because of that feeling Then on Monday afternoon, my nose area started to hurt a little. At that point, something felt off, so I took one packet of the antibiotics the hospital had given me. But in the evening, I drank a little moreㅠㅠ And from that point on, the pain really started and the swelling began.. I was so scared that I came home and took another antibiotic packet.. I’m really weak with alcohol, so I didn’t sober up, and my nose kept swelling.. All night I did ice compresses and took antibiotics.. As soon as morning came, I rushed to the hospital.. At the hospital, they first gave me an antibiotic IV and said to watch it for a few days. I had never even imagined inflammation would happen, so I was terrified.. When I asked the doctor whether it would heal, they said about 80 percent are controlled with injections. Hoping I would be among that 80 percent, I got IV injections for 3 days.. But today, the third day, the doctor saidㅠㅠ to remove it tomorrow.. that something had collected inside my nose.. They said to remove only the silicone, and honestly tears came out .... What scares me is not something else.. My nose was originally so low, and thinking about going back to that nose again.. On top of that, because of my job, appearance is important, so I’m really terrified ... Even now I’m already below average in appearance compared to other people and I suffer mentally because of my looks, but if my nose gets even lower on top of that ... I came home and looked at my pre-surgery photos, and it’s truly unimaginable and heartbreakingㅠㅠ I lived with this face for 5 years... And after the third surgery, as my nose got a little lower, my epicanthic folds became more pronounced too.. But if I remove everything entirely, I’m scared my eyes will look even worse, so that frightens me too .. If there were really another way, I would want to change jobs ..ㅠㅠㅠ If I had even a little bridge on my nose, I’d just have it removed and live comfortably.. But then I’m also scared that if I have revision surgery again 6 months later, I’ll get inflammation again.. I hate living like this, always stressed about when inflammation might flare up because it happened once.. How much money and time have I put into my nose, anyway ... Why does this keep happening only to me while all my friends around me are perfectly fine ... If I ever have a daughter later, I’ll let her do anything else, but I will absolutely never let her have surgery that inserts an implantㅠㅠ I really regret it.. drinking and smoking, and even about a month ago I had filler injected all over the slightly sunken part of my forehead and my cheeks.. I keep wondering if that caused poor blood circulation and led to this.. Right now, my last hope is that the bridge that was painful and soft up until this morning has had the pain almost completely subside and the soft area has reduced to almost nothing.. The doctor said we’d look at the condition tomorrow morning and then go into surgery.. but it still hurts a bit when I yawn and such ..ㅠㅠ I really hope the inflammation has gone away .. But the problem is that once inflammation happens, they say it tends to happen often.. Rather than living with a time bomb in my nose, unable to even have a drink and always anxious, I feel like I’ll have to remove it someday anyway.. but I’m not mentally prepared.. going back to how I looked 5 years ago... According to the doctor, since only about 1 mm of silicone was inserted, there wouldn’t be a big change in my nose, but honestly on the face, even 1 mm is a lot, right.. I’m also so scared my eye shape will change.. If there’s anyone like me, please leave a comment .. Did people who had removal from an originally low nose adapt well ㅠㅠ
