I was fairly satisfied with my first surgery too, but maybe because my original nose was long and droopy, the tip dropped again pretty quickly. I live in the provinces, but I visited quite a few clinics for consultations and chose my hospital carefully. My first surgery was made too natural, so for the revision I wanted something more refined, but when it came down to it, I was choosing a place that would still do it naturally.. 1. Right after surgery: Since it was a revision, I already knew the swelling would get worse later, so I wasn’t too worried about swelling. During the consultation, the staff were very thorough, so I was told the surgery time might be long, and it was longer than expected. Because the operation took so long, I wasn’t really clear-headed. Maybe because of that, I don’t know, but there was really much less swelling than after my first surgery. 2. 1-2 weeks: It’s now week 2, and as the swelling gradually goes down, my nose is settling in. The big swelling went down quickly, and the smaller swelling lasted about a week. If it were up to me, I’d want it to stop at this shape right now. At week 2, as time passes, it seems like the sensation in my nose is returning, so that strange feeling I had up through week 1 is gone. 3. Surgical pain: There was absolutely no pain from the surgery itself. I can tolerate pain pretty well too, but since I took my medicine properly, I barely felt any pain, just occasional throbbing. However, while I had the nasal packing in, I had to breathe only through my mouth, so my throat hurt like it was being torn apart, and I couldn’t sleep well. Still, you just have to endure that period well and keep your mind on that. Oh, and the feeling of my nose being pulled when I laugh or cough is still a little there. 4. Result: It feels like my nose has settled in to suit my face without looking excessive. The line isn’t fully settled yet, but since the tip that had dropped has come up, I’m satisfied overall.!
