<Before surgery><1 month><2 months>I was scared and afraid scars would be left, so from the start I didn’t even look at incisional surgery. It’s so scaryㅠㅠㅠ I also like a natural in-out line, so I worried a lot that if I did incisional surgery, the line would be set too strongly. But after going around to several hospitals for consultations… my eyes really weren’t suitable for non-incisional surgeryㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ My eye-opening strength was weak, my upper eyelid skin was thick, and there was a bit of muscle drooping too, so all the directors said non-incisional could loosen quickly. I just gave up on that and proceeded with incisional surgery (getting consultations at several places is seriously important…) I kept saying I really didn’t want it to look obvious and asked them to make it natural with an in-out line (ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋI was honestly such a talkative patient, I kept only talking about what I wanted. Thank you, director, for listening), and the director said he would make it as natural as possible to suit my eyes, so I trusted him with it. Since I was doing it anyway, I also wanted epicanthoplasty, so I asked, and he said we should just open it naturally while looking at how blocked my inner corners were, so I liked that part too! Right after surgery, as everyone knows, the bruising at the inner corners was the worst because of the epicanthoplasty, and the swelling from the incision was no joke either. Maybe because I also had ptosis correction, there was a pulling sensation too... But they said this was all normal, so I just trusted it and endured. As the swelling went down a lot (everyone, definitely manage your swelling. They say if you don’t manage swelling, you’ll have a hard time later. I followed everything people in this community said was good), the outline of the in-out line slowly started to show. Now I’m 2 months post-op, and the line is really natural, exactly the in-out feeling I wanted! My eye-opening strength has definitely improved too. Before, I often heard that I looked sleepy, but now I don’t hear that anymore. I didn’t overdo the epicanthoplasty and made it natural, so maybe that’s why I often hear that my impression looks softer, and it makes me actually want to go outside.
