Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s day 2 after removal.

Hello. Because of removal, I came into this community a lot and read all the removal posts, and then I ended up joining too. I had the removal done on the day that marked two months after my surgery. The reason for removal was psychological anxiety: I couldn’t freely touch my nose and kept feeling like something was sitting on it? So I had it removed.. I had silicone, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and osteotomy done. I had all the silicone and cartilage completely removed. My nose was low, short, and slightly upturned. Even so, I liked my old natural nose better.. I had the removal done through an open approach. During the removal consultation, the doctor said there was no inflammation and nothing abnormal, so 95% would return (I confirmed this repeatedly.) He said the remaining 5% is that the nasal tip may be a bit hard. He said this would gradually soften over time. He said for about one or two months, it may feel shorter than my own nose, but that this is a natural phenomenon as the skin, which had stretched, attaches back again, so I shouldn’t worry. After confirming repeatedly, I came to trust him, and honestly, when I asked about things like contracture, he said unless it’s inflammation, it almost never happens.. He also said scar tissue naturally forms, and it will gradually disappear over time, so there’s nothing to worry about because it’s expected. When I first had nose surgery, strangely enough, it didn’t hurt, but I had removal surgery yesterday and it hurt so muchㅜㅜ The sedation wore off, so it hurt even more.. I think I prayed hundreds of times. That it was okay if it hurt, so please let it return well...... Now it’s day 2, and I’m diligently disinfecting, taking my medicine well.. I’m also doing a little ice compressing. I’m a bit worried because it’s my second time opening the columella area, but since it’s only day 2, I’m not sure yet.. Because I have a bandage on, I don’t really know the condition of my nose... It’s still swollen like there’s silicone in it, but when I press it, it sinks in easily~ This is how I think.. Scar tissue can naturally form, and as wounds heal, they contract and shorten, so I hope people don’t worry too seriously or scare others about it... Not just the nose, but other areas too, when they’re touched with a knife, it takes quite a lot of time to recover and look like your own flesh. But if people scare others too much about those things, I think people who are going to have removal will become even more afraid... I’m prepared. I think of it as something natural. Right now, I’m happy just from the fact that there is no implant in my body. Now recovery is something my own care and my nose will handle!! To be honest, I am a little worried too..ㅋㅋㅋ Since I’m human.. Then I’ll leave another surgery review~! I hope people who had removal can share their removal reviews and care methods^^ I’d be infinitely grateful if you leave comments..ㅋ
