When I was young, I got hit on the nose and it became crooked, and because of a botched surgery I had a septal perforation and severe internal and external nasal deviation. Even well-known doctors were not confident or tried to dissuade me, but in the end I decided to have surgery. It wasn’t about making a pretty nose from a normal nose, but focusing on restoring it to its original state. Since the chance of inflammation was also high, we excluded silicone, and used ear cartilage for the nasal tip and autologous dermis for the nasal bridge. Since my nose originally had some height, I was told it would not become much lower even with osteotomy, so I even had medial and lateral osteotomies ㅠㅠ I have stitches on my buttocks, ear, and nose, and it’s the second day, so it’s uncomfortable. It’s very swollen ㅠㅠ When I go for follow-up on day 10, I’ll try posting comparison photos too.
