I had under-eye fat repositioning and fat grafting done by Dr. Moon Ye-seul at a plastic surgery clinic. I narrowed down a list of places known for under-eye fat repositioning through cafes and this community, and I went to about three places. Among them, I think this doctor gave the most detailed explanation during the consultation. When I looked up cases where under-eye fat repositioning went wrong, there was a lot of talk about the under-eye aegyo-sal area, and I felt the doctor had good manual technique for preserving the boundary of the aegyo-sal while filling in the hollow areas. Anyone may be able to preserve the aegyo-sal during surgery, but I thought it required a technically delicate design, and that results would differ depending on the surgeon’s know-how. After surgery, there was the inconvenience of not being able to wash because I had to keep the area away from water, but that was a level of discomfort I could definitely tolerate. By days 4 to 5, I could clearly see the bruising and swelling going down, and the stiffness also disappeared. I’m someone who usually uses a lot of facial muscles when I smile, but I was still careful about excessive facial movement and laughing, especially when yawning. The hospital explained in detail what I needed to be careful about after surgery, so I think I followed all of it exactly. That may be why I feel the surgical result is even better. Now I’m even more satisfied because I often hear that my face looks brighter and younger. If you’re considering under-eye fat repositioning and have any questions, please leave a comment or send me a message. I’ll help as much as I can based on what I know ^^
