I’m going to leave a review up to day 8 today! From the day of surgery until day 6, time felt like it was passing so slowly... But thinking about it now, it feels like I got to day 8 pretty quickly. From the day of surgery to day 4, it hurt so, so, so much and the swelling was at its peak. Still, I ate seaweed porridge, soft tofu, eggs, and potatoes. If anything, I think I gained a little weight... When I was hospitalized on the day of surgery, I had drainage tubes in, and it was uncomfortable, painful, and hard, but the nurses came with me when I went to the bathroom, and whenever I mentioned pain, they kept coming to check on me. They really worked so hard...ㅠㅠ On day 4, I went for radiofrequency care and wound disinfection, and the consultant asked me about what had been difficult so far. She said that if I wore the compression band for just 3 more days, the swelling would go down quickly, so I felt reassured haha and received the care. The care didn’t hurt either; it was warm, so I started getting sleepy! Today is day 8! I had the stitches from my cheekbones removed. I was worried it would hurt, but the consultant removed them so painlessly that I didn’t even realize they were being taken out. After receiving radiofrequency care, they said I only need to wear the compression band for half a day now, so I took it off, planning to wear it while sleeping, and walked around here and there. By evening, I could visibly see that the swelling in my lips had gone down quickly. For food, I even cut pasta into small pieces and ate it today haha. If you just endure exactly one week, you can cut food into small pieces and eat, so I think it becomes manageable. Now I want to get through one more week, quickly have the stitches inside my mouth removed, and see my face with the swelling goneㅠㅠ I want to eat tteokbokkiㅠㅠ Oh, and for the past week, whenever even the slightest thing made me anxious, I kept contacting the consultant, and she answered each and every question so kindly and immediately that I felt so sorryㅠㅠ That’s how much care they gave me. If you’re still debating facial contouring, you know this kind of contouring really shouldn’t be done just anywhere, right? Skill + aftercare. Surgery doesn’t just end after the operation; you need to do it at a place that cares for you through recovery. I’m still only on day 8 at Noh Jong Hoon Plastic Surgery, but the consultant, the director, and everyone have been looking after me, and I’m receiving aftercare now too, so I’m very satisfied haha. If you’re debating it, at least go for a consultation. I recommend it.
