Hello. I have congenital crooked nose symptoms, so I went to 3 places and am leaving a consultation review. Please keep in mind that it’s a difficult case! 1. ㅇㅊㅂ One single-doctor clinic. Process - Brief interview with the consultant / No CT scan performed (as far as I know, they do it if it’s related to rhinitis) Consultation after meeting the doctor - Said it falls under a difficult case, but mentioned the possibility of improvement compared with now. Explained the doctor’s surgical philosophy, including lowering the nostril sill/alar base area and use of materials (costal cartilage/autologous costal cartilage). The price was extremely high. 2. ㅁㅇㄷ Consultation with Director Lee Kang-woo. CT scan performed. Brief interview with the consultant Consultation after meeting the doctor - Said surgery can be done but does not recommend it -> said it may be possible to make it look less crooked by adjusting the nostril area with Photoshop or using AlloDerm. Price was lower than hospital 1. 3. ㄹㅋㅋ One single-doctor clinic / consultation fee paid in advance No CT scan. Brief interview with the consultant Consultation after meeting the doctor -> Not possible (not recommended) Explained that the crookedness is something that cannot be corrected, telling me the expected postoperative result and the reason it cannot be done. Accordingly, no procedure or price was provided. I excluded the doctors’ kindness because it doesn’t greatly affect the surgery. I’ll probably visit 2-3 more places, but if they give similar results or an absurd price, I’m just going to be moderately satisfied as is. Since the nose is 3D and closely related to the facial axis, anyone considering it should definitely go to several consultations. If you have questions, leave a comment!
