One month after natural adhesion double eyelid surgery and upper canthoplasty

I had revision surgery at the clinic, and this is my one-month review after natural adhesion double eyelid surgery + upper canthoplasty. As of today, about 6 weeks have passed! The photos are from the one-month mark. Compared to before, my sleepy-looking eyes used to stress me out, but after the surgery my eyes look bigger and I feel like the line I wanted was created, so I’m satisfied for now. As for discomfort, maybe because I had upper canthoplasty, there is still redness and scarring. When I’m tired, I still sometimes feel pulling in my forehead and between my eyebrows. I’m applying ointment well and taking care of it, and I was told it will gradually fade over a few months. I had wanted revision surgery since 2023, but I kept hesitating while only looking for hospitals. After 2 years, I went to exactly two clinics, decided, and went ahead with it. I’m extremely satisfied!!! At the current 6-week stage, when I wake up in the morning it swells a lot, like around week 3? Then it completely goes down at night, and this keeps repeating. I apply scar ointment after waking up, wash at night, and apply it again every day.   Also, to add, I don’t think double eyelid surgery is ever an easy surgery either. For my first surgery, I only had buried sutures, so maybe that’s why I didn’t pay much attention to it, but with canthoplasty, because the delicate skin is pulled and stitched, even small changes felt extremely uncomfortable. At first, I also had slight dizziness + nausea. Now I have none at all. Including scar care, I think it’s a surgery with a very long-term recovery. Also, because you can’t rub your eyes or push on your eyes to wipe tears? and things like that, your eyes feel extremely uncomfortable.. In conclusion, I think it’s important to have a clinic and director who pay attention to post-op care too and perform the surgery carefully. It’s my second time, but it turned out naturally, so I’m so, so satisfied, and I don’t think I could ever do it again in the future. The first week after surgery is freaking hard + uncomfortable + there’s care too,, Still, if a situation comes where I absolutely have to do it, I think I’d do it at the same clinic again. This is truly a review I paid for myself, so I hope you decide carefully and don’t think of double eyelid surgery too lightly either!!! I hope everyone gets beautiful eyes /ᐠ •ヮ• マ Ⳋ
