Review almost 2 years after alar base reduction

Has it been over a year and a half since I had alar base reduction? I think it’s been roughly a year and a half to 2 years? I was bored, so I came to write a review First of all, honestly, the surgery itself turned out well, you know? I had it done at a place that comes up a lot when you search alar base reduction and is famous. Looking at the before-and-after photos, honestly my nose before was fine too, but after the surgery it did become a prettier nose. But the problems! 1. Sometimes my alar base looks too narrow Usually I don’t notice it, but sometimes when I look in a mirror outside?? Compared with my face, only my alar base looks too narrow..ㅠㅠ Actually, during the surgical consultation, the consultant also said she thought I didn’t really need alar base reduction, but I was so fixated on it and wanted it, so I did it.. The doctor didn’t tell me to do it or not do it, and he looked extremely tired and only gave a very formal consultation. Anyway.. I should have listened to the consultant... I often think I did it for no reason. Thankfully the surgery turned out well, so it’s okay.. But really! The best thing I did was nostril sill/alar lifting.. There’s no scar at all, and only the nasal alae lifted a little. Anyway, what I want to say is, unless your alar base is really stressful, very flared, and things like that, alar base reduction is kind of unnecessary..? If you just wish it were a little narrower.. = absolutely don’t do it! The reason my face doesn’t look great isn’t necessarily because of my alar base, but if you get fixated on that one thing and do it, you could regret it like me! Even though my surgery turned out wellㅋㅋ Make sure to think carefully about your face shape and the harmony of your features before deciding! Especially because alar base reduction can’t be reversed 2. Scars I don’t know if mine is a severe case, but the scars show much more than I expected. It’s not that raised scar tissue formed and makes them noticeable, you know? But the lines are just clear, like the incision lines left after double-eyelid surgery. The lines might even be worse than incisional double-eyelid surgery?  They don’t show much in daily life, but in brightly lit places or under lighting, they show like crazy! There’s a straight line clearly there! I just imagined there would be only a faint, slight line inside the nostril, and I thought, I should accept about that much! So I did itㅋㅋ I guess this varies by person.. So I’m thinking of getting scar treatment too.. It may be too late.. It may not be effective.. I don’t know, but For now, these two are about the biggest downsides I feel? If you’re curious about anything else, you can ask!
