Please don’t think too lightly of non-incisional double eyelid surgery; I also had side effects…

After I passed my mid-40s, my eyes sagged a lot, so I was considering a sub-brow lift and upper blepharoplasty, but I was still afraid of cutting and using a scalpel, so I just did non-incisional double eyelid surgery. I looked around online and in person at several places, and got it done through an introduction to a place among doctors that at least didn’t oversell medication (it’s not a famous place, just a small clinic run by one doctor). At first it was so natural, and the swelling went down in just two days, so I wondered if this was right. After all the swelling went down and I looked after a week, my left eye was slightly lower. A month later, they revised only the left side, but what became a problem again was whether the doctor was nervous or pulled it too tightly? An inclusion cyst kept forming repeatedly like boils at the surgical site. So early this year, I had a third revision (I never thought I’d have double eyelid surgery on just one side three times in my life!!). They incised the existing inclusion cyst and did it non-incisionally, and I’m very satisfied so far. Anyway, so the conclusion is: 1. Even “pinching” is still surgery. 2. Side effects do not discriminate. 3. Because of that, go to a hospital that takes responsibility for side-effect aftercare until the end without showing annoyance. (*The hospital I went to is run by an individual doctor, and I didn’t consult with a manager. I liked that point. Maybe because of that, I felt the nurse? there wasn’t that friendly. Instead, unlike the managers at other factory-style clinics, she didn’t have the typical Gangnam beauty look, and I went partly because of that too (if the face shape is too much like that, you can see the aesthetic the hospital pursues..).
