Hello. After receiving 3 types of facial contouring surgery, I have been suffering every day from side effects, and my ordinary life has collapsed. My history is as follows. 2023.02.26 3 types of facial contouring surgery 2023.01 During follow-up observation, due to persistent sensory abnormalities and pain, I had the pins removed on the doctor’s recommendation. 2025.01.10 I was diagnosed with inferior alveolar nerve injury at a university hospital. 2025.01.22 The executive director called and said they would resolve it through a meeting. They did not contact me on the scheduled date, so I sent text messages on 2/7, 2/10, 2/14, 2/17, and 2/24. They kept delaying it by telling me to wait. 2025.02.27 I was contacted and told that a settlement would be difficult and that I should proceed legally, because my cousin had visited the hospital to collect documents for legal action. (My cousin had the same surgery through my introduction and suffered nerve damage in the cheekbone area.) 2025.04 They said they would file an insurance claim. 2025.05 The hospital was contacted that insurance filing was not possible because it was surgery under general anesthesia. My current condition is a tingling, crawling-bug sensation in my lower lip and chin, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When the weather is cold, I also get paralysis symptoms. While eating, I bite my lip too, so my left lower lip is always swollen. The reason I am posting this is that all the surgery reviews on cafes are only positive posts, and I want to widely let people know that there are cases where you suffer from side effects and still receive no measures at all. Those who are going to have facial contouring surgery in the future, please research the hospital carefully before doing it.
