When I had my first nose surgery, I really wasn’t greedy at all I didn’t use rib cartilage either, just ear cartilage and silicone Back then, I thought I’d be able to get my nose done and live just fine like everyone else But in the end, 2 years later, I even had revision surgery All the time, money, and mental suffering I’ve put into it until now really makes me feel so disillusioned.. haha During the first surgery, the splint and nasal packing felt suffocating and not being able to move my philtrum was hard too But honestly, I liked it because the bulbous-nose look I hated seemed completely improved I lived satisfied for about half a year to a year But after that, my nose started to feel subtly droopy. I think saying the nasal tip was dropping is more accurate I wondered if I was seeing it more sensitively because it was my own nose But I think what was even more shocking was that it looked that way to other people too The times I really felt it strongly were 1. When taking photos Especially photos taken by others were worse 2. When the nasal tip stood out before the nasal bridge, whether from the front or the side.. 3. When I went to change my ID photo and the teacher doing the Photoshop tried to raise my nasal tip more lol.. I was pretty shocked then, and I really felt that there was a problem with my nose But even if I had revision surgery, it’s not like I’d be 100% satisfied So I also looked into fillers, Hiko nose lift, nose lifting threads, etc.. But filler in a nose that already has silicone? It really felt like crossing a river I couldn’t come back from, so I reluctantly looked into revision surgery What I felt while going around for consultations was Even though I went for just a nose consultation, they really recommended all sorts of things.. Maybe because it was revision surgery, or maybe because it was obvious I was mentally spiraling They said I should do my eyes at the same time, get forehead fat grafting too, or that a lift would be better I’m in my late 20s haha......... I refused everything and got only the nose revision at a place that matched me in terms of the nose design itself And for materials, some places recommended donated rib cartilage and others recommended autologous costal cartilage About 80% of them did recommend autologous costal cartilage But for me, the idea of taking out my own rib cartilage felt like too much of a burden It seemed like it would hurt.. and I knew I’d hate seeing the scar myself, so I didn’t want to do it Fortunately, the hospital where I got my revision surgery said donated rib cartilage was fine And I think issues like dropping are also less likely depending on the doctor’s skill The shorter the surgery time, the fewer side effects like inflammation too.. I’m satisfied now, of course But honestly, if I could go back to the past, I’d want to live without touching my nose at all I’m relieved that I found a nose that suits me even now But when I think of the emotional distress, if someone I knew were getting their nose done, I’d seriously want to tell them to research it well haha Or just get it done somewhere really famous for revision surgery from the beginning.... With plastic surgery, I guess it’s unavoidable that some people fail and some people succeed~ Everyone, the more that’s true, I hope you really research carefully Like 0 Empathy emoticon Translating Would you like to save this review? +0 This review is for a surgery review pursuing a glamorous look.
