<Before 1: when relaxing my eyes and smiling><Before 2: when opening my eyes with my eyebrows to create a line><After 1><After 2>About 7-8 years ago, I had double eyelid surgery with ptosis correction + partial incision, but it turned out strange. I had revision surgery at the same clinic after just 1 year, as a sort of after-service correction, but,,,, one side felt like the line abruptly stopped from the middle, and the other side felt like the double eyelid was buried in the upper eyelid (refer to the 2 before photos). I often heard that I looked like a monolid celebrity, and when I said I had double eyelid surgery, everyone would be surprised in a different sense? lololol But since I had already had surgery twice within 1 year, I was exhausted and just gave up and lived with it haha,, When I opened my eyes using my eyebrows, the depth was really shallow, but I could kind of see a line? a crease,,? so when taking photos, I almost semi-automatically raised my eyebrows to open my eyesㅠㅠ Then whenever I saw photos naturally taken with the rear camera or looked in the mirror, it stressed me outㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ If you are considering revision surgery, you probably understand this feeling: even if other people say it looks natural because they do not look at it in nano-level detail like I do, and ask why I would bother doing it, I still keep feeling dissatisfied with my own eyes, right everyone,,? So I decided on revision surgery! With the determination that there would be no 4th surgery in my life lololololol, I did a lot of online research and in-person consultations in my own way, read lots of reviews, and decided on Igram. 1. An influencer whose eye look I liked reportedly had it done here 2. The doctor's attitude felt trustworthy 3. They reportedly limit the number of surgeries/consultations per day and operate at a relaxed pace (Some places have the doctor running out of the operating room to do the consultation, which made even me feel rushed,,,,) These two reasons were the biggest factors. When I compared places during in-person consultations,,,, like other reviews say, the doctor is not the sweet and affectionate F type haha. But he confidently and accurately explains the necessary surgery and gives realistic guidance! Everyone has different needs, so please keep that in mind,,! And originally, because I said I wanted an in-out line, we were going to do it together with an upper canthoplasty (more precisely, I was going to think about it until the day of surgery), but right before surgery, after checking the line several times, he said he would try to create as refreshing an effect as possible without upper canthoplasty, so I only proceeded with incisional double eyelid surgery. The decision-making and design process were very meticulous, which made me feel a bit comfortable right before surgery lololol And I really wanted to write this in the review: the nurse, consultant, and other staff members were really, really kindㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It was extremely cold that day, and they put a hot pack on me and covered me with a blanket. During consultation, while waiting, and when I came to have the stitches removed, they were never once indifferentㅠㅠ After surgery, I remember there was some treatment like an IV to help reduce swelling, and something warm,, I do not remember well, but I think there was a treatment like LED. I took One Quick swelling tea and worked really hard on cardio, so the swelling went down quickly. Now, aside from the scar when I close my eyes, I do not think there is anything that stands out much! The line also seems okay compared to how worried I was that it would become an inner double eyelid, and I can definitely feel the difference from before when doing eye makeup and drawing eyeliner, so I feel good haha. Oh, and originally my upper eyelids were so heavy that I could not even dream of getting a lash lift, but after double eyelid surgery, I tried it for the first time in my life,,,,ㅠㅠ I am satisfied enough with this!
