Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

The oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic that improved my deep bite and square jaw was the best^^~

<Before surgery><Before surgery>I had a hard time since childhood because my temporomandibular joint made noises and I had pain. Maybe because I had a deep bite, I would clench my teeth without realizing it, and it felt like my teeth were grinding. I was also concerned about my square jaw, so this time I decided to have two-jaw surgery and facial contouring surgery After hearing that the symptoms I felt uncomfortable with could be improved through two-jaw surgery, I started searching for various hospitals. Since two-jaw surgery is such a risky procedure, I wanted to have it done at an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic that handles it more professionally rather than at a plastic surgery clinic. After watching YouTube and reading many people's reviews, I booked an appointment at the oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic, and after a trustworthy consultation with Director Shin Hee-jin, I felt confident and chose it right away.^^ Post-op days 1-3 My right jaw and cheek throb with pain, but thankfully it is not as bad as I had feared before surgery. However, the throat pain is hard every time I drink water or take medicine. More than anything, my nose is so completely blocked that even breathing through my mouth feels difficult. Post-op days 4-5 The pain in my jaw and cheek is a tolerable throbbing. The nasal congestion is still there, so I am breathing through my mouth, and because of that my throat and mouth keep getting dry, so it feels like the throat pain is not getting better. Still, swallowing water seems to have gotten a little better.... Sleeping while sitting up is the hardest. My lower back hurts, so if I recline a little more, I inevitably feel like I cannot breathe, and when I sit straight again, my lower back and butt hurt so much. Sleeping lying down has become my biggest wish. Post-op days 6-7 Swallowing has become a little more comfortable, and I think the pain has decreased a little too. The nasal congestion is still difficult. Yesterday I tried sleeping lying down for the first time- It had been a long time since I had sleep without lower-back pain. The right side was especially more swollen than the left and had pain too, but I started to feel it gradually subsiding. The nasal congestion also seems to have eased a little. 2-3 days ago, it felt completely blocked all day and like a heavy stone was sitting on it, but now it feels like it is gradually getting lighter. 1 month After the stitches were removed, it feels much more comfortable, maybe because healing inside the mouth also sped up. I started mouth-opening exercises, and what was hard in week 3 seems to be getting a little better after week 4 2 months It throbs from time to time, but the pain has improved a lot. Eating soft foods is gradually becoming more comfortable too. The swelling is still going down in different areas 3 months I can now eat eggs and minced meat little by little haha The stiff pain during mouth-opening exercises has decreased a lot, and speaking is gradually getting more comfortable! 4 months Eating regular food has become much more comfortable, and people around me have started telling me little by little that my impression looks softer because my face shape changed, so I feel proud 5 months Until 4 months, my jaw felt stiff after eating meat, but once I reached 5 months, that mostly disappeared haha Before surgery I had severe headaches and temporomandibular joint pain, but at some point after surgery they disappeared a lot, so these days I am so happy 6-7 months Aside from the discomfort from wearing braces, almost all discomfort in daily life has disappeared. Now it does not hurt even when I do running exercises~ 8 months Until now it had been somewhat hard to bite into things like bread with my front teeth, but now, as long as it is not too thick, I can bite into it without much difficulty! The fact that my impression became softer thanks to my face shape and that I could hear compliments from people around me is thanks to Director Shin Hee-jin of the oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic~^^
