I had revision nasal tip surgery without silicone and with no implant in the nasal bridge (donated costal cartilage for the columella, ear cartilage for the nasal tip), nasolabial angle correction, correction of nostril asymmetry, and a philtrum reduction of 2–3 mm. It has now been 12 days since the surgery. The stitches on the outside of my nose have been removed, and I’m going in two days to have the dissolvable stitches inside removed. But after the nose surgery, as the swelling keeps going down, I can visibly see that the nasal column is crooked, and the nostril asymmetry is even worse than before. On top of that, the scar tissue and scars on both the inside and the externally visible areas are very severe, bumpy, and step-like, and maybe because I had the philtrum reduction done at the same time, it feels like the scars are even more visible. Even before surgery, my nostrils were asymmetric, so I had revision surgery together for correction, but my nose is much more crooked than before, and the asymmetry has gotten worse, so I’m at a loss. From what I can tell, it has not even been 2 weeks yet, so I keep trying to change my mind and think I should wait a bit longer, but I don’t know if I’m being sensitive, if it’s still too early to judge, or if there really isn’t much difference in the nostril asymmetry before and after surgery. No matter how I look at it, it seems like the surgery went wrong, so I’m posting this because I’m anxious. Is it normally like this after revision surgery? In a case like this, would I need to have another revision at this clinic? Even if they offer to do another revision, I feel hesitant about doing it here. In this kind of case, would a refund be possible?
