About a month ago, I had rhinoplasty using silicone, septal cartilage, and ear cartilage. When the taping was removed and I looked in the mirror, it was extremely swollen. Even before the taping was removed, it felt like fluid had collected in the glabella, so it took several days longer than most people to remove the taping and splint.. The director said it was okay now, so just as I was thinking I should work on reducing the swelling after removing the taping, I went to the hospital and they said there was fluid in the glabella again.. They said it wasn’t blood and that there was slight inflammation, but not that severe, so they drained it again with a syringeㅠㅠ Of course I also took antibiotics, and instead of a regular injection, they gave me a stronger IV injection. Because of this inflammation in the glabella, my already swollen glabella became even more swollen, exactly like Avatarㅠㅠ If anything, it was worse..ㅜㅜ After that kept repeating, until recently, like most people, the major swelling seemed to go down somewhat, and the swelling in the glabella also seemed to subside to some extent. The director also said it seemed okay now, and I was supposed to visit the hospital again in a few days. But then, after a few days, slight signs of inflammation appeared again.. I think that was around the third weekㅜㅜ After reading various reviews about inflammation, I saw that many people remove silicone.. If I leave it like this, severe symptoms of contracture could come later, and even if the inflammation completely disappears now, it doesn’t mean it won’t happen again later.. Also, now that I have a nasal bridge, the high glabella that doesn’t suit my face makes my nose look longer, makes me look older, and I’m having trouble adapting to the change in my image.. As of today, there are still symptoms that feel like slight swelling and inflammation in the glabella. I went to the hospital today and told them I just wanted to remove the silicone. But after the director looked at it, he said that, as before, there is swelling, but it hasn’t gotten worse, and told me to come back to the hospital this coming Monday.. Of course, the director also said that if this keeps repeating and I keep taking antibiotics, that isn’t good, so we decided to watch the progress for now and remove it, but when I said I wanted it removed as soon as possible, he said to watch it a bit more.. I’m writing this incoherently because I feel like more time passing will lead to contracture, and I don’t feel mentally at easeㅜㅜ I’m also worried that if I remove the silicone out of my own desire, it might end up worse than not removing it, but I also want to remove it even one day sooner and live without inflammation.. ㅠㅠ After having rhinoplasty, I feel like I could have lived fine with my old nose. The regret is hitting me even more. After doing my nose, it is nice to have a nasal bridge, but rather, I look older and my nose looks bigger.. I tried so hard to become prettier for no reason, and now I’m full of regret.. It became a case of trying to remove one lump and ending up with another.. Recently, before changing my phone, I looked at the many selfies I used to take of myself and finally realized that my original nose wasn’t bad.. I guess people really should live with their original appearance unless there is something especially wrong.. I miss my old soft, pliable nose so much.. I think people who remove implants probably feel the same way. Before surgery, not only the director but also most people around me said my nose wasn’t that bad.. Because of my own greed, thinking that if I just did my nose I could become prettier, I touched it and ended up in an irreversible situationㅜㅜ I never thought the inflammation I had only heard about would happen to me too.. I’m extremely worriedㅜ,ㅜ I regret it because my nose doesn’t seem prettier than before, but because of the inflammation, I’m too anxious to live.. Should I remove the silicone,, I feel so frustrated..
