Hello. After my first rhinoplasty, the bridge of my nose showed some translucency, and I felt that the nasal tip was gradually getting lower, so I had the problem of it looking blunt like before surgeryㅠ After thinking about it, I decided to get revision rhinoplasty, and I had the surgery at ㅇㅇㅂ. In the early stage after surgery, for about 1 to 2 weeks, I managed the swelling by applying compresses and taking light walks so it could go down quickly! From week 3, I could feel the swelling going down, and after about a month, the major swelling had settled compared with right after surgery. At that point, I could also check the overall line, and I could see that the nasal tip had been raised in a stable-looking way. Now, at 2 months post-op, I think about 80–85% of the swelling has gone down. Even from the outside, my nose and face feel harmonious, and I don’t have any major discomfort with breathing or daily life. Since it was a revision surgery, I wondered if recovery might be slow, but if anything, it feels like the recovery speed is much faster than after my first surgery. I think it’s good that this revision surgery helped resolve the parts I was dissatisfied with from my first surgery. I’m so grateful to the director who performed the surgery well, and I’m also just grateful to the consultant who treated me kindly. When I have time, I’ll share the next progress update too.
