I had incisional surgery + ptosis correction + fat grafting for multiple double eyelid folds. Double eyelid lines started forming one by one, and the multiple folds gradually became more defined. At first it was okay, but the asymmetry gradually became severe. For multiple double eyelid folds, they said fat grafting is needed to release the overlapping creases, so it’s done by incision. So I had it done by Director Kang Min-seok at Sway, who has a lot of experience with surgery for multiple double eyelid folds. I wanted a natural look, and the director immediately designed it along my existing double eyelid line, so I trusted him and had the surgery. What I’m most satisfied with is that I had seen many reviews saying swelling remains for months after incisional surgery, but now at week two, the swelling has gone down a lot and the line has settled well, to the point that people don’t even know I had double eyelid surgery! With fat grafting above the eyes, the sunken upper eyelids disappeared, and as the overlapping creases were released, my tired-looking image went away. Even though I only had fat grafting above the eyes, since the hollowing disappeared, people say the dark circles under my eyes also look less severe. I thought I would need at least about three months for the swelling to go down, but it became natural quickly, so I feel like I should have done it sooner instead of stressing for no reason. It turned out beautifully and improved my tired-looking image, so I’m very satisfied and strongly recommend it to those worrying about multiple double eyelid folds!
