I had revision rhinoplasty with Director Kang Cha-young at a clinic one month ago, and today I’m going to carefully write a one-month review. I had both the nasal bridge and nasal tip done. For the nasal bridge, silicone was used, and for the nasal tip, autologous costal cartilage was used. Functionally, I also had rhinitis and a deviated nasal septum corrected, and the foreign material from my previous surgery was removed as well. Honestly, before surgery, I was worried recovery would take a long time because functional rhinoplasty was included too, but recovery was faster than expected, and returning to daily life was hardly uncomfortable. At first, there was a lot of swelling and nasal congestion, but I could feel it getting better day by day, so I wasn’t too stressed. For aftercare, I received SmartLux and oxygen care three times each, and honestly, I think they were subtly effective in reducing swelling. They kept checking my progress too, so I felt much more at ease. Overall, the result feels really natural and neatly refined without being excessive, so people around me don’t say it looks obviously like I had cosmetic surgery, but I’ve been hearing a lot of comments like I look more sophisticated and cleaner. If you’re considering revision surgery like me and also had functional discomfort, I really recommend addressing the functional issues together. It’s still settling into place, but so far I’m satisfied with both the process and the results, so I think it will keep getting better.
