I had yellow bruising for about one to two weeks, and there was none of the purple bruising I had worried about Swelling: It peaked after one week, and when I had the stitches removed in week two, it went down sharply!! It really went down quickly after the stitches were removed. Fibrotic lumps: They started about a week later, and it felt very tight. Maybe because I do work that involves a lot of movement, there was quite a bit of lumpiness, but now, after receiving aftercare twice, when I touch it, it has really softened a lot.
