I already set the surgery date, so I don’t need recommendations for other hospitals. I’m going in with my own conviction lol My first surgery was buried sutures + eye correction 6 years ago, and for the past 3 years the line has gradually loosened, so I could barely keep it in place with eyelid glue. The problem at that point was that as my upper eyelids sagged, my impression became more 답답해, and because the line was asymmetrical, my uneven eyes got worse, and even if I put on makeup the line still showed through;; My first surgery was done at a local clinic, so this time I went around the Apgujeong-Gangnam area where everyone goes 1. ㅈㅇㅈㅇ (near Sinsa Station) * Incision + upper eyelid fat removal + epicanthoplasty * There were a lot of people and it felt a bit;; like a market in there, not gonna lie. But the coordinator handled things well, so that was fine. I figured the clinic must just be popular. * They said they could make an in-out line, and since I had a lot of fat on my upper eyelids but also very thick skin, it would be hard to make a line without incision + fat removal * But the line the director drew for me felt a little more like a semi-out to me.. not at the inner corner of the eye, but the outer line was raised too high?? We adjusted that a bit while talking, but I felt like the director and I might not have the same aesthetic sense.... I was tempted because they seemed good at making things natural, but I was still satisfied with the consultation itself 2. ㅋㄹㅁ (near Nonhyeon Station) * Incision + revision eye correction + epicanthoplasty * Since it was a revision surgery and the line was quite buried, they said incision would be the most ideal method * The director drew both in-out and semi-out lines for me, and this was the first time I was recommended semi-out -> Reason: there is a lot of empty space on the upper eyelid!! To make the eyes look bigger and more natural, a slightly lower semi-out line would be best. Epicanthoplasty would make the eyes look clearer ㅇㅇ * The semi-out looked less bad than I expected, so I was like, oh?? But after the consultation, I searched semi-out reviews and there were a lot of people who looked pretty flashy by my standards, so that part made me hesitate..... * The consultation was relatively the shortest 3. ㅇㄹ (near Apgujeong) * Incision + epicanthoplasty * Up to this point I had only been recommended incision~~, so I asked if there was really no possibility of a non-incision method, and I felt the director was very good at explaining with examples Just by trying to set the line, it loosened really easily and looked kind of overlapping, so they said that for that reason too, incision was the right choice ㅇㅇ I really understood it at that point.. * And here, there was some kind of chart or picture showing what line you want, which I liked because it made it easier to point to and explain. Personally, I’m the type who feels that even if they show reviews, that can’t become my eye ^^... (your eyes are yours and my eyes are mine..) If anything, using a drawing is better * They said if you want a natural look, in-out is the right choice. When I came out after the consultation, I was shocked because there were so many people in the waiting area?? I also visited 2 other clinics besides these, but the aesthetics didn’t match mine so I didn’t consider them In the end, I agonized a looooot between ㅋㄹㅁ and ㅇㄹ, but I decided to get it done at ㅇㄹ. Maybe if I had been thinking more about semi-out, I would have agonized even longer... neither of them had only a 1-year AS period eitherㅇㅇ (ㅋㄹㅁ is 2 years and ㅇㄹ is 3 years) Anyway, while going around for consultations, there were many times I got a headache from the coordinators pushing me around;; but the second and third clinics didn’t do that, so I recommend them to super introvert everyone who’s worried~~
