It’s still a newborn fake nose with the splint not even removed yet, but I’m writing this in case it helps haha Seven years ago, I went to a clinic where people get double eyelid surgery and went ahead and did my nose too. As a result, I didn’t have any major side effects, but I ended up with L-shaped silicone, omg The nasal tip started to show through little by little, so I thought about dermis and went around for consultations. But after hearing that I had L-shaped silicone in my nose, I suddenly felt like I had a time bomb...? So after that, I went around for consultations like crazy. I wanted natural >>>> natural-glam, so I only consulted at clinics that were as natural as possible but would still do some bulbous nose correction. I tried to find a place that could fix the current problems with my nose: the starting height of the silicone, the glabella, and the nasal tip shape. The silicone already in my nose was on the high side, so I wanted to put it in lower. But at three places, I heard that because of mouth protrusion or the nasolabial angle, it would be better to raise the nasal tip a bit. So I did decide that raising the tip a little more would be good, but I kept hesitating every day because I didn’t want to casually say, “Please make it high!!” and end up ruining itㅠㅠ For materials, we used septal cartilage + ear cartilage + silicone! For photos, I brought pictures of NewJeans Haerin, and I also brought the director’s review photos, divided into noses I disliked / noses I liked, yep. The surgery was at 13:00, and I got into the recovery room after 19:00. It was done under sleep anesthesia. I lay in the recovery room for a bit, then wanted to go home, so I video-called my friends to wake myself up from anesthesia, got up, took a taxi, and came home.. It’s currently day 4 after nose surgery, and even right before going into surgery, I spoke really vaguely about the height.. I just said, “I want the minimum height that can improve my protruding mouthㅠㅠ,” and went into surgery. But I really like the height and the degree of upturning of the nose, and it’s kind of amazing that there’s no swelling or bruising. It’s not completely nonexistent, but it doesn’t seem like I got a bucketful of bruises or a square-face beam. To the point that I wondered, if there’s this little swelling and bruising, does that mean I’m developing a hematoma? I’ve only had one follow-up so far, when the cotton was removed. The director came and checked, I received a swelling laser treatment, and got an antibiotic shot. Right now I’m steadily applying saline and eye ointment while just waiting for the day the splint comes off.. Since the clinic hasn’t been open long, I don’t think the other staff members work perfectly in sync yet. Something feels a li~ttle clunky haha.. Preparations I think I bought well so far are a wedge pillow, a children’s toothbrush, sterile cotton swabs, cleansing water + sponge. I’m really using these well. I also bought One Quick in advance, but since I barely have swelling, I don’t know if I’ll take it. I’m drinking swelling tea or pumpkin juice every morning! I’m absolutely not a broker, and if I am a broker, I’ll go to the clinic tomorrow and tell them to remove my nose, yep.
