Hello! This is a consultation review for breast augmentation surgery (first surgery)!! I went to two places for consultations, Glam and The Plastic Surgery, and I even had a very successful surgery on February 20 at The Plastic Surgery, which was the second clinic I visited. Please note: height 167 cm, weight in the low-to-mid 50 kg range, underbust circumference 65-70 cm, breast base width about 12.5 cm on both sides, and my breast asymmetry was very, very severe!! Oh, before surgery, a 70B bra fit me well when fastened on the innermost hook. 1. Glam First, I made a consultation appointment and went, but I had to wait sitting on the sofa for about 40 minutes.. After changing into a gown, I had a consultation with the consultant, and the explanation was very, very detailed. She really seemed like a breast expert lol. During the consultation, she showed me review cases of people who had surgery at Glam and explained well what my body type was currently like, and what type of implant and surgical method should be used to improve it. When I got home, she also sent me a really detailed summary via KakaoTalk of everything we discussed that day, and that was very helpful too! I had only ever thought that my breasts were small and had not really recognized what their shape was like, but I learned that because the muscles near my armpits are developed, my upper chest looks large and gives a pec-like appearance.. Because of this characteristic, they said it absolutely had to be done through an inframammary incision, and they recommended Motiva implants. Also, because I have pectus excavatum, they said that if I got greedy about size, I could develop symmastia.. They recommended 250 cc on the left and 275 cc on the right. To be honest, many people with a height and frame similar to mine seem to get implants in the mid-300 cc range, so I was really disappointed that I had to get implants in the mid-200 cc range ㅠㅠㅠ The consultation with the director was very short. After measuring my underbust circumference and breast base width and checking my skin/tissue quality, he recommended 300 cc Motiva implants on both sides. Since my breast asymmetry is very severe, seeing that he recommended the same volume for both sides made me feel like he had not looked in detail.... If anyone is going for a consultation at Glam, please do not just end after a short consultation with the director like I did,, refer to what you discussed with the consultant and ask lots of questions before leaving ㅠㅠㅠ!! I did not have surgery here, but.. judging from the review photos, they seem to create natural, feminine, pretty lines. There was no separate consultation fee! 2. The Plastic Surgery This is the clinic where I had surgery! I called them in a hurry and went, and I was able to consult with consultant Kim Se-in. She drew pictures with a board marker on the desk and wrote out various explanations while very thoroughly recommending what implant and surgical method would suit my breasts. And when I told her about the concerns I had after the consultation at the first clinic (pectus excavatum, size, etc.), she said that Director Ok Jae-jin is an expert in those areas and that it would be good to make sure I had a consultation with Director Ok. Unfortunately, on the day I visited in a hurry, I could not see Director Ok, so I made a consultation appointment for the next morning and visited once again. On the day I was supposed to meet Director Ok, I had a minor traffic accident while leaving in the morning and was late, and manager Kim Se-in was sincerely worried about me ㅠㅠ At that moment, my heart really melted.. haha. I met Director Ok and had a consultation along with breast measurements and 3D virtual simulation. I told him that I had heard at the previous clinic that going larger could cause symmastia, and the director drew on the desk where the implants would be placed and explained that this was not the case. Here as well, considering my tissue quality, my breasts, and the shape of my ribs, they recommended Motiva implants. For size, if my goal was a natural look, he recommended left 245 or 230 (Motiva Mini), right 300 or 285 (Motiva Demi) / if I wanted a glamorous look, left 285 or 265 (Motiva Demi) / right 355 or 330 (Motiva Full). Suddenly I thought, 'Since this is an expensive surgery, shouldn't I go big the first time?' But the director said that considering my job and image, a natural and delicate look would probably suit me better, and that since I did not have absolutely no breast tissue to begin with (for someone getting augmentation), even with Mini and Demi implants I would probably be around a C cup! Also, the director seemed to have firm standards for what makes a beautiful shape, and he seemed full of truly evidence-based confidence, so I immediately felt trust in him haha. After the consultation with the director ended, I tried implant sizing again with manager Kim Se-in, received the price information, and immediately scheduled surgery for the following week haha!! The consultant recommended sizes in the mid-to-late 300 cc range that would make my asymmetry even out while increasing the size beautifully!! In the end, I did get implants in the mid-200 cc range and 300 cc. At home, they sent me detailed KakaoTalk instructions about things to be careful about before surgery!! The consultation is very detailed and kind, so definitely add it to your clinic-hopping list!!
