After injuring my nose in middle school, I was stressed for nearly 10 years because of my crooked nose, hump, and rhinitis so this time I decided on implant-free surgery, and I’m now 3 months post-op. At first, the nasal tip was a bit swollen and the sensation was slightly dull, but these days it feels softer when I touch it and overall the shape has become much more stable! Since the nasal bridge and nasal tip connect naturally, both the front and side views look much better haha When I traveled, there was a side-profile photo that I would have deleted before, but this time I actually liked it and saved it... I’m also very satisfied that it turned out natural enough that friends I hadn’t seen in a long time didn’t noticeㅠ But these days, a slight shadow that looks like nasolabial folds has appeared next to the nostril wings, so I’m going to watch a bit longer to see whether it’s because flesh has filled in or because of residual swelling. They say swelling can continue to go down for up to 1 year! I also had rhinitis treated with functional rhinoplasty, and before, my nose would get blocked several times a day and breathing was uncomfortable. Now I feel like breathing through both nostrils can be this refreshing. Before, I was used to hiding my face angles when taking photos, but these days I just go around as I am without worrying, and that feels like the biggest change!
