I decided to give up the Christmas and year-end events in December and get rhinoplasty, so this is how I ended up having to say goodbye to the alcohol I like for about a month. I had surgery on Christmas Eve, and maybe because it was Eve, the traffic was bad, and even my nose surgery took a long time. For reference, I had an open approach, and the surgery consisted of about 10 minutes of sedation anesthesia and about 1 hour 20 minutes of local anesthesia. The surgery hospital is outside Seoul, and this place is famous for revision surgery. Rather than focusing only on the beauty of the nose, they preserve a lot of the functional aspects and create natural-looking noses. I have deviated nasal septum and fairly severe rhinitis, so I focused a lot on the ENT-related aspects. After I woke up from sedation, the surgery proceeded while I listened to the doctor, and especially because it was local anesthesia and I was conscious, the nurse and doctor joked with me in case I got nervous and helped me relax, so the surgery was able to go smoothly. They told me that at this place, I only needed to do cold compresses on the first day and told me to do them diligently, but since I worked right up until the day of surgery, fatigue hit me and I ended up falling asleep. As a result, when I went for dressing the next day (it was the 25th, so the hospital was closed, but the director came in just for dressing patients), the other patients came in looking totally fine. So my face ended up covered in nosebleed, swelling, and bruises, but the doctor said the shape came out pretty. Then 6 days later, I had the splint removed and this is my face now. Please tell me whether it really came out well! Please look carefully and judge the before and after surgery♡
ps. The photo with bruising is from day 7, and the next one is from day 15.
