It’s been over a month since I had surgery at the clinic, and I received 3-part facial contouring: cheekbone reduction (triple fixation) + square jaw + chin length reduction & chin setback + total cortical osteotomy + deep cheek fat removal! Honestly, it only hurt until the day after surgery, and after that it was bearable! The swelling went down slowly over time, and the major swelling is now almost all gone. I can feel my facial line getting a little more refined day by day!! There was discomfort after surgery because of eating and swelling, but the “pain” was less than I expected. The clinic also has good aftercare, so receiving swelling care and skin care helped me feel psychologically stable too. The biggest change now is that I often hear people say my face got smaller!! lol Because of my protruding jaw, my face used to look long and pointy, but now it has become so slim it’s almost like it was cut in half, and I’ve even heard people ask if I’m the same person. I really think having this surgery was the best thing I’ve done in my life. I’m sincerely happy!! Honestly, if you can endure one day of pain, I definitely recommend it. Even if I went back, I’d get this surgery again. I’ve thought “Why did I only do this now?” at least a hundred times, seriously… I’m completely satisfied. The medical father of my life (Dr. Hwang Yong-seok) is truly the best. If anyone is considering it, I strongly recommend at least getting a consultation. You may be able to experience your quality of life changing, like I did!
